One block from the Malecon on the quiet end of the beach, but close to restaurants, fun people watching and easy access to museums and stores. Gail and Chalo were a great source of ideas and information. Rooms were quiet with good views and kitchens (originally built as apartments). It was very comfortable for hanging out in the hottest part...

Just got back from a week in the Baja and stayed here 2 nights. Huge, comfortable, 2bdrm 2 bath condo type rentals. Large balconies with a grand view of the Mallacon and the bay. The decor was a bit tired, but everything works and the beds were comfy. The hosts Gail and Chalo were very friendly and helpful. They were...

We were heading for a quick getaway to LaPax from our kitchen remodel in San Jose del Cabo and were referred to Gail and Chalo's place. It was perfect! We brought our teen-aged daughter along, and our large suite had a separate room for her. Our beautiful, spacious suite had a fabulous view with large lounging deck. They are all...

Originally we booked the Nest suite in the nearby Colibri Hotel but when we arrived there we were told that our room was only available for two of the three nights we had booked despite putting a deposit down through paypal-not a good start! However things took a turn for the better as we were offered a suite in Las...

The views, sunsets, the service, the personalities and the good karma, made our visit to La Paz, a memorable experience. Our great hosts, propietors Gail, Chalo and their right hand Brad made eveyday having breadfast by the pool a fantastic way to wake up, literally smelling the freshly brewed coffee. Don't expect a cookie cutter approach to this hotel, its...

We were greeted by the husband and wife team upon our arrival. Welcome home they said! They upgraded our room to a larger suite at no charge. Our balcony view was incredible. We had the Sea of Cortez, the many fishing boats, the sunset to die for, and view of the Melacon. Our visit had us at the end of...

We enjoyed staying at this small hotel in la Paz on our first visit here. We wanted to be down in the old town, but not too central, and the location was perfect. The rooms were large and comfortable, with a nice balcony, and they provide a nice breakfast and great service. The walls were a little thin, from a...

We took our 4 children, ages 9-17 to La Paz the week before Christmas and stayed at Las Gaviotas. We had a wonderful time! Gayle was very helpful in helping us plan our days and getting the most out of our vacation, including recommending activities to do and good places to eat. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning, especially...
