Ah, Bed ‘n’ Breakfast Lovers, we have found you a perfect match! Casa Tuscany Inn in La Paz is the poster child for bed and breakfast inns. It is stumbling distance to the Malecon, the main walking promenade in La Paz. The inn is very intimate with only two suites and two small rooms. We stayed in both the small...

If you are staying in La Paz, Casa Tuscany is a must. Less than two blocks from the Malecon, the location is ideal. From the moment we stepped in the door, Carol was the consummate hostess. So welcoming, extraordinarily helpful, warm and knowledgeable. She booked us our Whale shark tour, gave us good ideas for things to do, highlighted our...

Dear Cindy, Thank you so much for choosing Casa Tuscany for your recent visit and for writing such a lovely review. I am delighted you found Romeo & Juliet the extra special room that it is. With its private patios and upper deck with peek-a-boo views of the sea, it is a favorite with guests. It is unfortunate that the...

First time in La Paz and my husband sent many emails to Carol asking questions about the drive and safety from Cabo! (after reading an article from the state department about drug related violence in La Paz). She answered and put his mind at rest, We arrived around in the afternoon, checked In and promptly went for a walk on...

Dear Suzanne, What a treat to open my Trip Advisor page and find your wonderful review. Thank you so much for taking the time to sit down and expound on the virtues of La Paz and Casa Tuscany. La Paz truly is a Mexico town that lives up to its name "Peace." Except for Friday and Saturday nights, and the...

Have you ever gone on vacation and lost something??? Something really important? Something that could ruin not only your vacation but your credit rating? Something like your wallet replete with a big wad of cash, credit cards and iPhone 6??? Well it happened to me at Casa Tuscany! Luckily C.J.Dyer to the rescue. She spotted it after we had already...

It is such a relief to know your personal items were received safely. It is sheer luck that I discovered your iPhone as it was on a patio ledge and could easily have fallen into the neighbor's yard, possibly never to be seen again. Yours was not the first item left behind. I once mailed a handbag to Australia! I...

We found this wonderful B&B by chance, Carol our host couldn't have made us feel any more at home than she did. Our room was so charming and the property was so warm and inviting with seating areas to read and watch the humming birds. My husband wants to go back so he can have Carols delicious breakfast. Dear Valorie and Doug, The pleasure was all mine. What a delight to have you for a long stay, card games, and some dice game that I think I won but don't have a clue as to how! Must have been the scorekeeper. You were the first in my newly remodeled Firenze room with the new kitchen. Thank you for...

This is a small bed and breakfast just two blocks from the waterfront, near restaurants, shopping, and all the other fun things that happen in La Paz. The upstairs room I stayed in was small but very nicely furnished, with good towels and largish shower. I especially liked that I could open the window with screens and that there were...

Dear Deborah, Thank you so much for choosing Casa Tuscany for your visit to La Paz and for writing such kind words on Trip Advisor. Because people are willing to share experiences, I have taken steps to make many upgrades over the years. That includes two night stands with lamps, screens on the windows, thick comfortable mattresses, and high-speed Internet...

Dear Stacey and Greg Cabo has the reputation, but La Paz has the charm. You learned what many people have learned, that to experience a real Mexican town, one must get away from the all-inclusive resorts for a while. I have many repeat guests with timeshare in Cabo that come to La Paz for a few days just for that...

Casa Tuscany is a sweet little bed and breakfast just steps from the Malecon. Enter the gate and behind is a lovely oasis where all the rooms overlook the central garden area. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beyond the front gate and behind the walls of Casa Tuscany lies an inn reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. All guest rooms have private entry and open out onto a central courtyard where Costa's Hummingbirds rule. These friendly fliers are very curious and often buzz guests, especially if dressed in bright colors. The Malecon, or boardwalk, is only one block away and invites guests to stroll, bicycle, roller blade, or just sit on one of the many benches to watch the sea and the sunset. Casa Tuscany is close to just about everything in La Paz, encouraging visitors to get out there and experience the local culture without the encumbrance of a vehicle. Rooms are nicely appointed and all rates include taxes and a sumptuous breakfast. ... more   less
