The 3 weeks that we spent at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto were the most relaxing vacation that we've ever had. The accommodations were fabulous, spacious, well maintained and extremely clean. Staff went out of their way to make sure that our stay was memorable and stress-free. The meals were fantastic and plentiful. This is definitely a...

A long trip from Loreto and lots of work left. Timeshare presentation is brutal, you are pressured, pressured and pressured some more. They seem desperate to sell which is a red flag for me and it didn't seem busy there. Golf course still not finished only 11 holes done so far.

We spent a week in a one-bedroom suite in idyllic weather. The accommodations were spacious and very comfortable, with huge jetted tub, TV in LR and bedroom, and enormous ~800 sq ft (furnished) balcony. Though said to be at 90% occupancy during our stay, the resort felt anything but crowded; plenty of room and lounge chairs around the pools, lots...

The resort is beautiful, spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez, Islands and the Baja Desert Mountains. The staff worked extremely had to make this the experience a great. Managemen policies on staffing were evident, for example, they had one Bartender to cover six pools. Don't get me wrong, Manny did an excellent job, but he had to do it...

Once again, by the title of my post, you might just get the idea that we love vacationing at VDP Loreto! My post albeit late, nevertheless holds the same sentiment as it did the day we left our vacation! This year for our wedding anniversary, we decided to take all our (adult) children to VDP Loreto, ages 24 – 36,...

This is our second trip to VDP. It's about 30 minutes from the town of Loreto. There is beautiful areas to hike. A gorgeous golf course (especially the 17th hole). Several pools. Never had to worry about going down early to reserve chairs. Kayaks, paddle boards, and swimming in the Danzante Bay. I walked along the edges of the bay...

We had never been to Loreto before but have visited the southern Baja several times. Direct flight from Calgary via Westjet, so it is easy for us to get there. Initially we stayed one night in Loreto ( see review of Posada Del Cortes Hotel) and drove to our friends place south of La Paz for a week before returning...

Beautiful hotel but the timeshare is a racket. I know it may seem very obvious that timeshares are scams but they have impeccable sales people ready to tell you all sorts of lies to get you to sign. I purchased my timeshare in Nuevo Vallarta after being solicited by someone on the street. My mom and I toured the property...

We felt like we were the only people at this beautiful remote oasis. The area is breath taking from the mountains, crystal clear water, resort and all it encompasses. The staff was incredible wherever we went. There were some special staff members we became acquainted with. Ramon was always helpful when we needed a paddle board, kayak or information about...

Resort was beautiful and very well run. Very inviting and friendly. Lots of activities and peaceful. Will definitely return. Paul who guided led stand up paddle boards and tour of the islands made every effort to take care of us. Thanks for a great 10 day stay.
