Quirky decor and then authentic. Convenient location to the plaza & 2-block walk to the malecon (although everything in town is no more than a 5-block walk to whatever you may need there). Very intelligent & engaged proprietors: they can advise you about who to call or where to go for whatever you need and then confirm your impressions of...

Geraldo and Deborah are delightful owners. They make you feel at home. It has a beautiful courtyard with hammocks and chairs to hang out in the shade or sun. It is quiet and contained just slightly off the main Street and a block from the beach walk. The kitchen is great and I cooked some for myself, however plenty of...

This Inn was so different than what we are used to in beach community living - in all the best ways! We arrived for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised to find it so close to the town square with easy access. It is a safe, clean destination with very friendly hosts, Deborah and her husband Gerardo. They are exceptionally...

This may not be your 5 star resort hotel but it sure is homey and comfortable. I LOVED staying here. I got great value for the money, the place was clean and inviting. The hosts Gerardo & Debora are top notch. So helpful, and make you feel like family. The location is perfect for walking anywhere to town centre or...

What a great place to stay - comfy, pretty, fruit trees, flowers, multiple private garden areas, hammocks, huggable resident pets and people! It's as colorful as the owners who are involved in so many local, interesting projects. The accommodations are smack in the center of town, walk to the Malecon, beach, restaurants, shops: and it's quiet at night so you...

We stayed in a junior suite along the front of the hotel in a large, first floor room. The setting was lovely and the owners were very helpful. There is a open air kitchen for everyone's use that was very inviting. The location is perfect - center of town and near everything. We never got into the car until we...

Great place! Friendly, helpful proprietors, Debora and Gerardo. This inn is peaceful and yet in an excellent central location. It has a lovely patio and a flower & bird-filled garden. Comfortable, spacious, warm accommodations. Walk out the door and head left to the central plaza and historic church and museum, or turn right and stroll down the beautiful pedestrian way...

Stayed at La Damiana in late Feb and really enjoyed meeting Deborah and Gerardo. Gerardo is very committed to xeroscaping the boulevard which is currently sod. He's also very interested in educating the locals about science. The room was very roomy, queen size bed and twin bed. Interesting interior window that opened to a small enclosed courtyard. I did not...

Before embarking on a kayak trip from Loreto to LaPaz, I had the opportunity to stay at La Damiana Inn. The place is spacious, clean, warm, and inviting. Debora and Gerardo are able to help you negotiate everything from best restaurants to other suitable inns (they had no availability on my return, but helped me sort that out), to cash...
