First time staying at Las Gaviotas and will definitely be back! Location and view from the house was great, house was well taking care of, looking forward to going back soon! Great place to take your family.
Where else would ya stay to surf gaviotas.
Clean, comfortable and sizes for singles to a dozen.
Ocean front tends to be smaller and upper rows seem to be larger.
Lotsa restaurants-cafes within 10 min. drive.
Favorite is across the street ( el portal?)

What we do is a Costco run the day before, stay in the compound (its gated and guards patrol) and enjoy meals in. Take the toll road, $1.95 at each of 2 toll booths-super easy and no hassles from police or locals. If you... More
What we do is a Costco run the day before, stay in the compound (its gated and guards patrol) and enjoy meals in. Take the toll road, $1.95 at each of 2 toll booths-super easy and no hassles from police or locals. If you want to go out for a nice lobster meal, head into Puerto Nuevo, couple kilometers south of Las Gaviotas. Enjoy!
