Great first couple days in Huatulco. First time in Huatulco and stayed at Agua Azul with Rick and Brooke being great host and their dog Tango. Great place and beautiful location. Breakfast included fruit, assorted breads, jams, coffee, juice, yogurt and it was great. They...More
We recently stayed here five nights. Brooke and Rick took great care of us. The room view of the ocean and sun rise was just fantastic. The pool was so refreshing after a day on the beach. And make sure you find how to get...More
We spent one week staying in the Tortuga Room at Agua Azul in early February. I certainly agree with previous reviews that the real charm of this place is the hosts, Brooke and Rich (and of course Tango) and the wonderful camaraderie around the breakfast...More
My wife and I spent 6nights in the Pelicano room. The highest in the house and therefore the best view and breezes when there was a water problem unfortunately our shower was the one without cold water. They were right on it and got it...More
My family and I deeply enjoyed our stay at Agua Azul La Villa. I was traveling with my husband, parents, in-laws, and sister-in-law. The set-up of the Villa was perfect for our party because everyone was close but also retained a good sense of privacy....More
Sorry Sandra i don´t know. I asked my maid and she said to take a bus or van to Pochutla and then take a taxi to San Agostinillo. Across from the Soriana supermarket there is a van service to Pochutla.

In the Arrivals area there is a desk that sells tickets for Chev. Suburban taxis. The "colectivo" shared taxi costs 175 pesos per person and the same vehicle as an "exclusivo" costs 750 pesos for the whole van. Insist on the "colectivo" and tell the driver you are going to Residencial Conejos...Agua Azul la Villa. Most of the drivers are familiar with our Villa but if yours is not then tell him "From the entrance to Residencial Conejos, turn left at the second street and we are at the top of the hill".
An alternative to the “colectivo” is to walk about 2 blocks to exit the airport and directly across the highway. There is a taxi stand there and the cost will be 250 pesos for the taxi.

The current owners of Agua Azul are planning on relocating to another part of Mexico. They have the B & B on the real estate market at the moment but are still taking guests. Maybe they aren't taking anything after Dec 1 in case they sell etc. I don't think they accept pets as they have a dog of their own. Have you tried renting a condo for this time frame or looking at La Crucecita- about a 5-10 min cab ride from Agua Azul.
