I spended the week from Mar.18th-25th, 2010 in La Brisas, Huatulco. Overall, it was a slow start for me, but at the end, I really enjoyed the holiday because of the snorkeling tour. La Brisas is an ex Club Med property, which means they have the basic, but adapted rooms with big bathroom and shower areas. Everyroom would have a...

In March 2010 my wife and I spent a week at Las Brisas, Huatulco, our second time at this location. We like this Las Brisas because of its large and varied grounds, but this may be a disadvantage if you do not like walking and steps. There are lots of shuttle carts but no elevators, so it is difficult to...

Just returned after spending a great 11 days in Huatulco. In a nutshell, hotel and grounds were very clean and comfortable. Beaches were excellent, water terrific, and views beautiful. Food was for the most part fair, never had to go hungry. Seems to be lacking staff in the buffet and bar sections. The best part of the holiday was the...

fantastic value and staff.our ocean view was our all time favorite...cab service was greatI..very cultural and friendly staff,no pretentions....[concierge slightly sour for 5 days]..language a good challenge but refreshing..,makes you appreciate and devour the culture more. resort restaurants were only downside..they had watered down drinks[bad}and lackadaisical menus and service..the hotel snack bar and breakfast were an exception, very pleasant but not...

We had a wonderful, relaxing 2 week stay. We emailed a couple of weeks in advance requesting two rooms together and although they emailed back that they couldn't guarantee it, we got exactly what we asked for and more!! We loved having the balcony. We watched the whales every morning. The resort is very large so we did do a...

My boyfriend and I are used to backpacks and hostels, but for this trip, we were looking for an "exploication"--someplace with fabulous weather and beaches where we could relax and ignore all the activities on offer. We specifically did not want a party atmosphere, and we did want as much natural scenery as possible, given the all-inclusivity of the deal....

Great beaches , plentiful loungers and palapas. Good Beach Service. We all agree that it is an aging resort however I would not use the word "crumbling"! Our room was sparkling clean, spacious and I loved the marble bathroom. The beds were clean and comfortable. Towels were thick and service was excellent. Food was varie and plentiful. We especially enjoyed...

We just returned from Huatulco's Las Brisas for spring break. My wife and I are about 45 with 2 teenage boys 16 and 13. Kat at Selloffvaction.com, Surrey, BC worked hard and did not become impatient with my fussiness, to find this place for us. Huatulco: small town of 20,000 population (with 500 taxis!), very south of Mexico (below Acapulco)...

If it wasn't for the location, beaches, views, La Crucecita & Santa Cruz, our two week stay at the Las Brisas Resort would have been horrible. This resort is not a 4.5 star. We met a lot of people during our two week stay and those of us who had been to other all inclusives agreed that the resort is...

We stayed at Las Brisas from Feb.26 to March 5, flying Skyservice from Toronto. We had done a last minute booking and wanted to go to Mexico because my husband was adamant that we be able to watch the Olympic gold medal hockey game on TV...we knew that it might not be possible in Cuba (lack of American/Canadian satellite) so...
