Don't stay here! Although the staff at the condo is helpful and kind, condo #602 is not what the pictures demonstrate. The condo is fairly well equipped with dishes, bedding and the necessities, but it hasn't had a good cleaning in a long time. The windows, curtains, ceiling fans and furniture are very dirty. The shower in the small bedroom...

A great week in Mazatlan. Really enjoyed the locale and hotel. Do not know whose fault it is, but all the advertising info we looked at said elevator. HOWEVER, THE UNIT SET UP IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO ELDERLY WHO CANNOT DO THE STAIRS! The units are set up with kitchen and living room on the entry level and a long...

Spent a month here. Needs some maintenance but everyone speaks English and it is right on the beach. Has a small pool and a small cafe for breakfast and lunch. Lots of Canadians who are owners or renters send have been coming here for decades. Safe, some parking, security guard, maid service. Great value for 100 a night or less.

I traveled with 6 other adults and 6 kids (14-6). When we checked into our condo, 801, we were told the facility pool was down and not available for the week. It was in the upper 90's and very humid. That just wasn't gonna work. We ended up walking next door to the palms villas and stayed there for the...

We spent two weeks at Islas in March 2015. Not the Ritz but clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent and if you don't feel like cooking in house or going out to a restaurant you can go to the restaurant downstairs which is good and inexpensive. The location is fantastic with a great, quiet pool area. If you want...

We stayed a week in March to get away from the cold of winter in the Northwest. What a nice warm treat of 85 degrees and plenty of sun. Our room on the 17th floor had a beautiful 360 degree views of the ocean to the west, golf course to the east and the gold zone to the south. Our...

Can't say much. But what I can say is the restaurant has very good food and excellent staff. Maintenance and upkeep of rooms is lacking. Rusty water out of the taps and no water pressure in the shower.

Location was great. Good if you have a large family. But could probably find nicer for the price they charge. Needs a good cleaning, lights over bed looked like they had never been dusted. Could barely see the ocean view because the windows were so dirty. Bathroom door handle was falling off.

My parents bought a house here at the islas del sol, but they also do vacation rentals here as well. This was my first stay here. The service is great. Many speak English for those who need that. The view is one of the best in Mazatlán. Strong wifi in the lobby. The WARMEST pool I have ever been in...

We have been staying at Islas Del Sol for 29 years. We love it. The staff is excellent, the restaurant is very good, great service. There are many full time owners, they are very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location, close to many great restaurants and close to lots of shopping.
