Again this year we returned to El Cid Castilla. We did notice some changes in the La Pergola, menu changes at the À la carte restaurant. Overall stay was excellent. We already waiting for our next stay.

No issues with cleanliness during my stay. All inclusive was truly just that. Bookable à la carta meals are fancier than the buffet. Morning breakfast is nicer at ..I think la gordina or something close to that...if they give you ground level room try to fight it!! To close to the pool and the noise and ocean view much better...

the staff would skip white peoples orders or skip us completely until we complained. also the sleeping quality was awful because there was always something every single night, I get that you had to have fun, but at 1 am it is little annoying.

We just had our breakfast at this restaurant which has just opened. The variety of choices is plentiful. There is music by a local musician. Food is very good. Seems a bit of advertisement would help let the guests know there is another choice. It is beach front as a bonus. I suggest you try it.

Stayed at the El Cid Castilla from Dec 30th to January 6, 2017 with my girlfriend. Check in was quick and the bell hop quickly led us to our room, showed us around and turned on our air conditioning. The room was clean and as luck would have it, we ended up being in the lower building right on the...

The grounds and the location are excellent. Heated pool with slides and a lot of amenities for the kids to have fun. The rooms are outdated but clean. There is no free internet and no complementary or water which is a standard in a lot of hotels with less stars. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they allowed us...

Overall, the service and quality of the stay was good, however one of the managers was very condescending and intrusive when making false accusations one night against my friend and me without even considering our perspective. In other words, if you don't have to deal with Mario, you'll probably really enjoy it. However if you do have to deal with...

Reasonable proximity to main attractions in Maz. Bus transportation is very good. Room was average with both a pool and ocean view. During the day pool area is too loud. King bed was very good, bathroom small. No bar fridge and tv stations were limited. No wi if without a large fee. We did not do all inclusive. Time share...

Worst sleep for all 10 days that we stayed at the El CID. The mattress was very uncomfortable and lumpy and the pillows felt like lumps of concrete. There was no opportunity to change rooms. Housekeeper tried, but lack of face cloths and towels made bathing awkward at times. Food was good, and pool service was excellent.
