I have been to this resort many times. All of the service staff including reception, waitstaff, cleaners, lifeguards, concierges, porters, shuttle drivers, airport collection, and maintenance men are superb. The same cannot be said for the management. If Senor Don Julio Berdegue, the original owner was still alive he would be appalled at the state of his resort now. It...

We stayed at the Castille resort. The room was amazing, the view was breathtaking, the location could not be better, the room was enormous. However, we had an ant issue that never really got resolved even after repeated calls to the front desk. The balcony, although one of the best features, was seriously dangerous for kids under the age of...

Our family of 5 had a great time at the resort. This was our first time in Mazatlan and being able to open the windows at night to listen to ocean as the temps cooled was incredible. We had the all inclusive package and were a little confused with reservation system given the Holiday dinners, but after a couple of...

Great variety and quality of food. Breakfast buffet on the beach every morning was super and a sit down meal at the 5 restaurants were better than expected for all inclusive. Pool staff very attentive.

Airport pickup was free, prompt and professional. A guide explained more about Mazatlan, El Cid, activities in the area to our way to the hotel. Checkin process was seamless, staff was very cordial and professional. The stay was amazing. Room views were breathtaking - ocean views, pool views. Large property, lots of things to do and awesome experience.

El Cid El Moro was OK ..... comfortable and clean in the rooms; a bit rough around the edges though. Also, the first 3 nights we stayed in the north tower on the east side and the noise from the street and nearby casino was too loud. Third night there was a party at a hotel 2 blocks north that...

View from the seventeenth floor was amazing!! Rooms need updating- Mattresses old and hard pillows are way to big and hard to sleep on. Kitchens are quite interesting to cook in. We got by and had a very nice stay- Mazatlán is a pretty fun place- very nice people!

They charge $10 per day per device. It turned out to be a third of my total costs. Their answer. If you buy a time share it's free! In today's info age, make sure you find a hotel that includes internet. The cafe across the street and just about every else was free!!

Dear N0thVanMan1969, First & foremost, I wish to thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. we stayed in a studio at El Moro. The door that divides the two studio spaces is very thin and the families that stayed in the adjoining space while we were there were very noisy. Otherwise we were happy with the service we received and the facilities

Great staff at El Cid El Moro Beach Hotel. This is our fourth trip to Mazatlan, and our third trip to El Cid El Moro Beach Hotel. Each time the staff was great. We especially like the adult pool. It is relatively quiet with great pool-side service.
