Stayed here Feb. 5 to Feb. 19. Myself, husband, daughter and 3 1/2 yrs old granddaughter. Spent 2 weeks on the Golden Zone before moving here in pouring rain, so found this a little far out though accessible to everything by bus and taxi. Bringing groceries in is a bit of a pain depending on where you are in the...

Enjoyed our vacation to Mazatlan, Mexico. The people were very friendly. Everyone was helpful. We stayed at the Mayan Sea Garden from Jan. 23 through Jan 31st. The grounds were beautiful and they had a large main pool with a waterfall. They also had two smaller pools. We enjoyed lunch at the Sunsest Snack and Pool Bar. The rooms were...

We have been to many places throughout Mexico and this has got to be the lousiest accomadations we have ever experienced. We purchased this through a church auction and thank God (no pun intended) that the $1375 we spent for one week at least went to a good cause. The mattresses were as hard as a rock not mentioning the...

For the new year my family decided to take a vacation together. All 16 of us travelled to Mazatlan and stayed at the Mayan Sea Garden. Like many of the others, we read the reviews before we went. Needless to say we were a bit apprehensive about staying there, taking into account the numerous negative reviews and the few positive....

I've seen all kind of reviews about this hotel that make it sound very bad. I must admit the rooms are not perfect, they may smell a little, not roomy and Elevators did not work sometimes. But you are on vacation, anybody who stays in a hotel room more than 2 hours durring the day is not vacationing, stay home...

I am a travel agent and I just returned from staying at the Mayan Sea Garden with my parents who own a timeshare. And I have to agree with all of the reviews good and bad. This property is 33 years old and a property can only be reinnovated so many times before it needs to be gutted/torn down and...

Don't be alarmed by the older negative reviews of this hotel. We had a great time! After reading all the reviews on this site, I would not likely have booked this hotel. But my friend traded her timeshare for 2 suites for 1 week Oct 16-23. We were four friends travelling without husbands or children, so were may have a...

We recently traveled to Mazatlan (Oct. 23-28, 2004) and stayed at the Sea Garden and Vidafel Resort Mazatlan. I had read the many negative and a few positive reviews on this site about the hotel so I was quite leary before we arrived. We had a suite in the big tower which was just right for the 4 of us...

We spent six fabulous days at the Sea Garden Hotel/Resort. Wife's co-worker owns time share and was not able to use this time, so we got lucky. We flew on America West which, by the way, offered fast and excellent service. The Sea Garden is very clean, the staff was friendly and efficient at all times. Three beautiful pools are...
