Guillermo!! Guillermo!! Wherefore art thou, Guillermo? Oasis came through our path like a warm ocean wave that we were not expecting. Having already had reservations at a nice, all-inclusive hotel, we decided the community the hostel had to offer was much better worth it than continuing another night behind closed doors. CLEAN, AFFORDABLE, check check .May be the first two...

My first experience with a hostel could not have been better. We got a private bedroom in this clean, modern hostel that had its own shower and toilet. The busses went to and from town every few minutes and were easy to navigate. We easily walked to the Malecon down the river. The staff was helpful getting us rent-a-cars and...

I stayed here for one night in the double room which was quite clean. The hostel is really big and in 15min walking distancde to PV beach. I think its perfect for a big party crowd and for a short stopover night. I really liked the view from the terasse.

I'm very ambivalent about writing this review because the staff was generally friendly and the prices in this hostel are reasonable. However, this was the noisiest hostel I have ever been to and until well after 2am we could not fall asleep (even though I NEVER have any problems with that usually). Moreover, it wasn't just noisy because of guests...

My sister and I stayed in the privet double room and it was excellent! A comfy bed, ensuite with hot shower and toilet and sink and a clothes rail and mirror - perfect! It felt like we were staying in a quaint hotel room! The staff were very friendly - they spoke little English but really tried hard to communicate...

Location: 20 minute walk to the boardwalk and centrito. Conveniently next door to an OXXO convenient store. Bus to and from airport passes the hostel and has a nearby stop. Bus tickets are very cheap. Maybe 15 pesos for a 30-45 minute ride. Hostel: I stayed in a single room. The sheets were really worn and didn't fit the bed....

Hello, I’m glad you enjoy your stay with us. We feel so sorry about hot water the water heater broke down and now we have a new one and we check it weekly. Breakfast is served on the kitchen bar from 8AM-10AM next time we will serve you some “huevos rancheros”. Saludos, Oasis Hostel Family

Fernando in the reception is nice, patient and friendly but the hostel itself got no hot water in the showers and it is located uphill, far from the marina, malecon and other interesting attractions in town. Visit this gostel only if you are looking for cheap lodgeing in Puerto Vallarta.

Stayed here for a few weeks and really loved it. Close to the real Vallarta, markets and shops all owned by local people. The Oxxo is right next door and is 24 hours which was convenient and the staff are so cool. Would definitely stay again.

“The building has amazing ventilation, and always stays very cool, but it lets in the sound from the city, which, honestly, I got used to really quick. It's a short bus ride costing about 15 cents to get to the beach, or you can make the scenic, creekside 15 minute walk. I'd love to come back and visit here.”
