As with many of the reviewers on here we booked last minute and having read the reviews understood that we were going to get very, very basic accommodation which was reflected in the very low price. It is surprising therefore to read reviews that show surprise at the standard of the rooms. We cannot stress enough that basic means just...

I traveled to PV alone as it's told to be the safest place in MX to do so! I found this for a good rate! I had a basic room, no ac no tv. As it was very humid in PV I opened the window and had a great breeze!! I had a great view of both the ocean!! In...

Horrible experience. Staff was lazy. Room looked like a prison cell. Not at all what was on the website. Dirty, bathroom floor had a leak, no hangers, TV that did not work, no towels, yada yada yada, you get the drift. Bulldozer would be the best thing to happen to this pit.

I think the location is why people choose this hotel as it is definitely a no frills hotel. Important to me is wifi. Wifi was a joke! When it works it was very slow. There is no balcony! Three plastic chairs for entire second floor walkway overlooking the park. Personally, I do not see that is was such a bargain....

Be certain to get a room overlooking the small plaza/park...a quiet place most of the time, but markets and festivals happen there too. Zumba every morning from 0800 to 0900 The Page in the Sun is a great little coffee shop cafe'...and library. It is accessible through the hotel as well as on the street.

The hotel room had adequate space and provided 2 double beds and bathroom with stall shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop views at continental breakfast were awesome. Nice breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt & granola. Location to the Malecon was excellent.

This hotel is located within steps of the Malcon and the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta. --- All non-suite rooms have an internal courtyard with no window --- The continental breakfast is sparse at best --- There are no restaurants on site. There is a connecting door on the main level to a coffee shop --- Beds and bedding are...

Rooms are very average but clean. The breakfast was fresh fruit and yogurt. The reception person that checked us in, Dora, was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a 5th floor room overlooking plaza and had an ocean view. Location is great...close to many excellent restaurants.

It seems that since this hotel is in a prime location, customer service isn't a priority. I had to ask the front desk for a clean towel after having been given one w dirt stains. I requested extra bed sheets a few times but never received them. They even took the sheet from the extra bed! The man that works...
