Good god, I am here right now, writing this...and staying in the only place that provides shade as the pools do not! Where to start....expedia because we wanted a place to cook our own food. Pretty hard to do that when there is only one old, nasty, tiny fry pan, filthy utensils, gas stove that won't light, fridge that barely...

I was very worried about staying at this resort based solely on the reviews posted on Trip Advisor. I even warned my spouse, in advance, we might have to move to another hotel !! How wrong I was! Be aware different parts of this sprawling resort are run by several different companies. We were guests of a Royal Vacations member...

My friend & I bought two weeks of timeshare here, sight unseen and were an eensy bit nervous after seeing a mix of reviews online. BUT we knew the minute we entered the gate, saw the immaculate garden covered w/coconut palms, and met the warmest staff...that we'd made the right choice. Our 3BR condo was clean and cheerful w/daily maid...

Very Very disappointed in our stay at your resort. This was a trip to celebrate my parents 50 wedding anniversary and it was very disappointing!!!!!!!! First of all we booked a European Style condo which was a CONDO for 6 adults and 2 children, so we could all be together. The condo was to have 1 king size bed, 2...

Booked the Los Tules Hotel on Expedia.com, Wanted to be near beach for under $95. Confusing front desk area, none of which was resposible for our room. Manager over Los Tules Bldg 11 closes at 7pm. Got our key with letter saying welcome....Got to room and found smell very revolting. Like mens gym locker, musty, mold, damp smell. Opened windows,...

After reading some reviews for Los Tules, I was sort of reluctant to stay there. All of the people that bad mouthed Los Tules need to remember that you are not in Kansas anymore. Mexico is not the U.S., so please stop expecting comparable accommodations. Los Tules offers everything you need to have a pleasurable experience. The rooms were nice...

It is not the cheapest place in Puerto Vallarta, but we love it. We have been going to Los Tules for more than 20 years. We love it! My children are now bringing their children; we all consider it a home away from home--or better! There are 11 pools, tennis courts, beach, pleasant restaurant with an excellent menu, and excellent...

Relentless timeshare "update" presentation for members. Refuse any attempt to go to this whether you are staying here or the Holiday Inn/Royal Holiday section....which is a dump. The Holiday Inn itself is OK.

I have stayed here several times before as part of my Royal Holiday timeshare. The property is old style Mexican architecture and overall, is very pretty. The staff was responsive and helpful. Maintenance workers were everywhere working on the property. That said, our room needed work. You think they would check it before a guests arrival. Two of the towel...

“We were in building 6 for our first night but due to the nightclub next door playing music til 5am and setting off fireworks over the villa we asked to move. It's a shame that place has been built so close next door. The staff very happily moved us the next morning to building 15 which was mostly privately owned and was very quiet. Due to the experience of our first night we did not attend any sales presentation but we had a great stay from then on.”
