The location was simply stunning! A huge property with five resorts. Mayan Palace was one up from the bottom. Unfortunately I did not know this at the time of booking. We reserved a two bedroom and had plenty of space for four people. The room was only average and well below our standards and expectations. We traded our timeshare and...

Our week's stay at the Marina Mayan Palace in April was a great way to relax and enjoy some warm sunshine after a cold wet winter in the Pacific NW. While the master room in the main building was a little sparse in it's amenities, it was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony to sit outside on. Things that...

My daughter enjoying Beach volleyball at the Mayan Palace, Marina Vallarta with Vidanta Joy Squad member and other young guests 😊 The Mayan Palace in the Marina is one of our favourite places to visit. The location and the friendly staff are the reasons for our return visits here 💖

What a fantastic place, we could not have picked a better place to celebrate our 20 years together.... The rooms are fantastic & clean, all the people that work there are very friendly & helpful (although we felt sorry for them, dealing with all the Americans, who spoke to them like they were stupid ) & the food was always...

Our stay was wonderful. Our room was at the marina, and the accommodations were great. The staff was helpful and kind throughout, and the food was delightful. It's walking distance from the marina, and an easy bus or taxi ride downtown. The beach is well kept and lovely. We took the meal plan, and had some amazing food. Breakfast buffet...

We were late arriving b/c of a snow storm at our pt of leaving. This reaort is a timeshare (Vidanta) and we are owners. The facility is I would say small compared to other resorts in the area. Both the facility and staff were terrific. Went to a breakfast presentation which was quite nice (not at all high pressure) got...

I could think of no better setting to host relatives for their Spring Break than here. From Hamlet, Houston and Rosario at the front desk to Edwin (pool waiter) to Gregorio (dinner waiter) and all the fun we had in-between, all contributed to a peaceful, rejuvenating, happy vacationer experience in PV. A new evening trip opportunity, "Fiesta in the Mountains"...

Just returned from spring break trip. The property was excellent, clean, and staff was very attentive. This was our first trip to Puerto and enjoyed everything there. The Beach was clean and this Hotel seemed to have a larger beach area to enjoy, compared to neighboring hotels. The pool was good and the staff was very good about keeping the...

The best thing about this resort is being close to the marina and taking taxis to downtown. The beach is nice and the poool and grounds beautiful. We like that it was a small resort and could walk around. We dislike the big resorts that are sprawled out and your taking shuttles everywhere. The pool restaurant has good food and...

“The one bedroom suites in the buildings closer to the ocean are situated closer to the gym, pool, and restaurant. These also have kitchen items with cooking and refrigerators for your use. Strangely these rooms have a sliding door opening to the outside, but no seating area, whereas the main building has balconies to enjoy with a couple of outside chairs. We did not see how the one bedroom suites in that building were laid out, but probably similar to the other buildings.”

“The morning we had to depart, I accidentally left a shirt on the balcony to dry, as I had spilled food on it and rinsed it out. We remained on the property, by the pool until we had to leave for the airport. About 20 minutes after we left the room, I remembered the shirt on the balcony. I asked the concierge to ask if the cleaning staff found it and turned it in to "lost and found". Amazingly, no one knew anything about it. I was very disappointed to think the cleaning crew would not turn it in. It wasn't real expensive, but it was the idea that no one knew anything about it. I left the cleaning staff a very large tip for their services, so more the disappointment.”
