Puree of poblano pepper and black bean soup, pan seared mahi mahi and creme brûlée were excellent. However, for a top 10 PV restaurant, the service was extremely slow. From the time we placed our dinner order to delivery was almost 45 minutes. And, it...More
We were enthralled by this exceedingly beautiful restaurant.
It has an elegant setting and overlooks the awesome Bay and mountains of Puerto Vallarta.
The cuisine was outstanding..my scallop appetizer and Chilean Sea Bass were fabulous!
My partner’s herbal-infused chicken was delicious as well!
This is a spectacular restaurant. You would never know when approaching it from the eerie street, and it seems to be in a deserted area. However, as soon as you open the big wood doors, you are transported into another world. In the middle of...More

One of the most magical things about Hacienda is how much the staff cares about their visitors and do so much to please them.

Depending on how many days you are staying at San Angel, I would just rent the car for your trip north to Sayulita. You are in the center of town. If your are just exploring, hire a driver and a van. Everything is negotiable. For 30+ years we use a cab. In our youth we wold rent a car, then it was VW Things.
