While in Cancun take the opportunity to take the ferry across to Isla Mujeres. It is charming, almost stepping into the past. There is outstanding snorkeling at the South end of the island. If you enjoy shopping, there are many little shops to choose from. You can experience swimming with large, but gentle sea turtles. Should you desire to spend...

Pro. We liked the location which was very close to the malecon and restaurants. It was fairly quiet for a downtown hotel and the staff were friendly. It is close to the stream that feeds to the beach which is a nice walk to the bridge to the other side. The hotel is also very clean which is greatly appreciated....

This was our first visit to this hotel. My review will be in two parts. The first will cover our check in experience. The second part will cover the hotel, room's,breakfast and other employees besides Victor. Our unpleasant experience started as soon as we walked in the front door. We stood at the front desk counter and waited not saying anything....

Being my first trip to Puerto Vallarta I really was very unsure WHERE to stay - I chose Hotel Porto Allegro for it's location (In centro but close to the romantic zone & the malecon) and good reviews. I am VERY happy I chose as I did! The hotel itself is smaller - but I like that as huge resorts...

We stayed here for 2 weeks in March. This was our 2nd stay here. The main selling points of this hotel are: excellent location which is walking distance to almost everything you'll need/want; friendly and helpful staff; good free breakfast; soft comfy beds and modern rooms. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. We came back here...

Only 2 blocks to Malecon, and 2 blocks from cathedral. Rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast on rooftop dining area is good. Very good value here. Only drawback is there is no swimming pool, only small dipping pool on the roof. Close to covered and open marketplace, along the river.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in feb/march 2017. The rooms are in a good condition and clean (incl. bathroom). The provide TV with some English channels, free bottles of water and a coffee maker in the room. There is also a small gym and some computers with internet access next to the reception, which we (and as...

We stayed here two nights. We liked everything about this hotel. The staff is very friendly and provided helpful responses to all of our questions. The room was spacious, very clean, and the king size bed was very comfortable. We were in room 205, which provided a great view of the cathedral. Lots of room in the bathroom. In-room coffee...

This little gem of a hotel is an incredible bargain. You get 5 star service for 3 star prices! The rooms are spotless. The beds have pillow top mattresses. There is ample space for clothes. If you are staying for more than a couple of weeks it is possible to get a refrigerator. Breakfast, served on the beautiful rooftop terrace, is...
