My wife andI have visited this hotel numerous times during the past seven years. Each time we visit we notice improvements. The new infinity pool is about 2 1/2 years old and looks brand new. Both hot and cold water flow at high pressure. The in-room towells are now abundantly large and absorbant. The air conditioning has greatly improved as...

The hotel is pretty much average, perhaps the lack of enthusiasm and extremely slow service in the pools and restaurant is not so much of a management issue as a local-culture issue. Clean, comfortable, OK. One BIG thing, the drapes in our room where almost see-through, so they could definitely peep in if they want to, I told the management...

We stayed at Villa Mexicana over thanksgiving week. We never left La Ropa beach. We had breakfast included with our stay, which included coffee a choice of fresh orange juice or a fruit plate, different choices of egg dishes with toast. Aways a great way to start off our day right on the beach. The rooms are simple and aways...

This hotel is a good location on the beach in Zihuatanejo with friendly staff and clean rooms. The rooms are nothing fancy and the air conditioner is too intense. Try to get a room with a view of the ocean because our room faced a bunch of air conditioners on the roof and the street. The price is better than...

We were so pleased with this hotel. There were 5 of us travelling; excellent rooms and excellent service. Lots of restarurants right by the hotel, the beach is clean and everyone is very friendly. One thing i would recommend is having your reservation confirmation in your hand. When we wre checking in it took a long time to find the...

Its a nice family hotel with the best location on La Ropa beach. If you don't have a car, the taxis are 1 minute away. Directly on the beach, never problems with beach chairs, 4 medium to small pools, the restaurant offers good but not sophisticated food with the same prices as nearby restaurants there are several nearby. Big rooms...

June 14-24 2012 stay. We have traveled all over Mexico and were looking forward to relaxing pool and ocean floating time. Grounds are clean, personnel are friendly. The reception area is lacking in being able to assist with area information or phoning area attractions etc.. The beds are very uncomfortable, but it is Mexico and you will pay $$$ for...

Right on the best beach and only 40 peso to town. Clean and well kept. Everyone was cordial and accomidating. We had a $47 per special and requested ocean front rooms downstairs (+ $20 and well worth it). The restuarant was excellent-accomidating and great menue. The surf was good for swimming and we almost always experienced a nice breeze off...

On Playa La Ropa (reportedly one of the best beaches in Zihuatanejo for playing in the waves), this little hotel offers it all for families that want to play in the pool and have direct beach access. The staff was friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good. There were many nationals vacationing here and we enjoyed that. It...
