While we were not staying at this hotel, but up the street, we made a reservation for the NYE dinner at Bacco Restaurante. What an amazing night. Alex and her team (including her best friend) could not have provided a more spectacular evening. The decorations, the food, the live music, and the amazing view made it absolutely perfect. The fireworks...

We made a reservation to stay very close to La Quinta and are regretting not having stayed here! The location is excellent and the property looks more upper scale than the surrounding one that feel more rundown. Their restaurant offered a nice variety of food for dinner and we ended up eating there a couple of nights in a row...

Only two rooms occupied when we were there during rainy season. We took two rooms including one of the penthouses. Price was great, location terrific and the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was good, bar at night closed as was low season, but not a big deal. So nice to have the beach steps away, and that great view.

Although the rooms are small and the pool is usually 80 degrees- we totally enjoyed the great location and friendly staff of La Quinta. We stayed in Room #9 and enjoyed an unusually large balcony with a great view of the bay. The cooking school restaurant " El Patio" was only 2 blocks away and has a wonderful breakfast for...

We enjoyed our stay here. We have been to Zihua several times and like staying in the Madera neighborhood because it is a pleasant walk to centro. Making reservations was very easy. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and all of the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were two couples in separate rooms and fixed our breakfasts...

Pluses: Great location. Great view, even from the pool. Walking distance to downtown. Right on the beach. Lovely to look at, the hotel that is. Nice pool. Cons: The smallest "suites" (villas they optimistically call them) can be claustrophobic in the bedroom. With a king bed, you can scarcely squeeze around the space. The living room is separate, and that's...

Located on the Playa Madera you can walk to the store or along the shore to the city centre. The beach has sections of nice sand so you can always find a spot to play in the waves. You can walk the road to Playa Ropa but catching the bus for 7 pesos is easier. Playa Ropa is a lovely...

Pros: I love this hotel because of the view and the location. It is on Madeira Beach, which is very nice for swimming, and it is within walking distance of downtown Zihuat and the fish market. It's also within walking distance of some wonderful little restaurants that serve the best grilled fish ever tasted. Their little pool is very lovely...

La Quinta de Don Andres is such a delightful place to stay - our favorite in Zihua! We have been there with friends, children, and grandchildren several times but hadn't been back since the remodel in 2010. We enjoyed it before - we absolutely love it now. Our impressions after staying there in early/mid April of 2013 are as follows:...

This property has a great view of the Bay and village of Zihuat. Their restaurant has some imaginative choices as well. My veal pasta with lobster sauce was first rate and delicious but they have a long way to go if they want to have a first rate restaurant. A restaurant with these prices should not use the small "cocktail...
