The Hotel Ilebal is a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well taken care of. There is a safe in the room to secure your passports and valuables while you are out and about enjoying this cute colonial city. Every morning you are brought a continental breakfast. The coffee and pastry are delicious. The...

I was really tired this night, so i slept in after 10mins. The mexican style in this hotel is so lovely! And its a nice detail, that the room has a balcony and the flees are also typical mexican. They also called us a good taxi, friendly, safe and cheap - which is great in this country. Oh, and also named...

One night the shower water was tepid instead of hot but otherwise fine on that score. Security is very good but the individual rooms could use an inside chain-lock. Staff was friendly...

Tucked in behind the Jardin Borda, down a little hill on an unusual street lies the Hotel Ilebal. The Hotel consists of perhaps 24 rooms in a few small bungalows with a pool and small yard. It has been recently renovated with new fixtures, paint and some newish furnishings. Our room was clean and large with a king size bed,...

“All the rooms appear great. The land is terraced so the rooms are in groups, making each area feel private. I usually feel safer not on a ground floor room but no need here. Locked grounds at night, access thru the lobby and all the rooms are in a circle surrounding the pool.”
