Another wow moment this morning. First a thank you to Miguel Angel Minos. What a warm welcome!! A true ambassador of this hotel. He takes such pride in his work. Thinking we would just take a quick peek from outside, we were brought in to enjoy this beautiful treasure in the heart of Guadalajara. Each room is designed with love....

We booked a last-minute trip to Guadalajara, a city about which we knew very little. Most of the better hotel options seem to be in the Zapopan neighborhood, more of a business and shopping district. There are a few options in the Centro Historico, but Casa Pedro Lopez stood out because of its small size (only eight rooms), history and...

The history and detail are abundant and special. Convenient to the historic centro and cathedral areas, CPL is very special with its attention to detail, preservation and unique rooms. A little noise can easily be overlooked if you enjoy historic charm. Dinner and drinks at bar and restaurant were also very good. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Use Uber...

Where do we start... First, we stayed at this hotel when we first arrived in Guadalajara before moving on to our next destination. It was Ok, not a great location, very small bathrooms, could never get hot water out of the sink, but thought for the price, OK. They knew we were also coming back on our last night of...

This hotel is architecturally stunning and is decorated beautifully. It has lots of charm and character. The whole setting brings you back in time. Each room has a different theme and all were interesting. As with any heritage building-there are a few problems that occur ( such as outside noise ) but well worth it. Food was good and a...

This is now one of my favorite places to visit and dine in. The renovated mansion is a beautiful place to visit. The food is first class, the service impeccable, and the relaxing atmosphere is amazing. From the hand carved stone pillars to the antique Greek style floor tiles, the place has lots to admire and plenty of places to...

We live nearby in Ajijic and wanted a 2 day vacation in Guad. Loved the charm and warm friendly hosts and staff. If you want a true old Colonial Mexican experience this fits the bill. The rooms are old fashioned and warm. Not your typical travelers hotel - much better. Great location downtown.

The hotel is in a great old mansion. A lot of renos have been done to upgrade it, while keeping the original character. The area it is located in is on the north side of centro - not the best area, although there are more restaurants and services if you walk about 6 blocks.

The Hotel Casa Pedro Loza provided an exquisite locale from which to explore Guadalajara and the surrounding region (Tequila, Tlaquepaque, ...). Remodeled from an ancient mansion, this petit hotel was such a pleasure! The rooms were delightful, the dining area superb, the meals a delight. And above all, the attentive service from the manager, the concierge, the chef-- all made...
