I have stayed twice in here for business trips as a recommendation of some friends. The first time was in June and it was okay. The Wi-Fi was good, the breakfast a thing to consider and the room was just what you need for a 'sleep and keep going on your thing' time. But last time in October was a...

My siblings and I were passing through Guadalajara, we decided to stay at the Fenix; the hotel has been remodeled, but it's only a 2/5. We rented 3 rooms and one had covered the windows with Sheetrock, the 2nd room had a window that opened to the stairwell and the 3rd room had a window that did open to the...

Excellent location for historic downtown Guadalajara, only two blocks to Cathedral and Governors Palace. Clean rooms and good facilities at a price far less than similarly positioned north American city hotels. Desk and concierge staff were friendly and spoke English. Internet WiFi didn't work anywhere but in the lobby for us. Parking was tricky but it worked and was secure....

They do not have safes in the rooms. The security guard of the hotel entered my room at night when I was out, and stole my phone. When he took my report in the morning, he told me nobody had entered my room. That afternoon when I went to ask again, they told me that the same guy that "took...

Went to Guadalajara for the first time and it was a last minute booking at the Fenix. We were tired and unfamiliar with city so after hours of searching we ended up here. We felt lucky to find an available room on a Friday night in the heart of Centro Historico. It looks pleasant on the outside and rates itself...

With a very good location, Hotel Fenix it's a good option for anything you could do at Guadalajara. The Cathedral it's 2 blocks away, and since the hotel is located at the very heart of downtown, you can have and do almost everything starting from here.

This was my first hotel in Guadalajara when I visited this second largest Mexican city 14 years ago. B ack in 2001 this was an elegant hotel in central Guadalajara, and there were just a few other alternatives downtown. Now things have changed. Over 2 dozens of modern hotels have appeared in the same area, and the Fenix hotel has...

Dear realworldtraveller we appreciate your time to comment on tripavisor, Ccurrently the Fenix hotel has changed management and the issue of remodeling is very important, this week we're done with the complete remodeling of the 7th floor where we have Jr Suites rooms, some with kitchenette and a large terrace with excellent view to the outside.
