Really nice hotel with a perfect location for tourism. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Restaurant is worth checking out - breakfast is great but so is the rest of the menu. Short cheap cab ride to places outside the central district. Rooms show its age a bit and the pool is nothing, but it beats the...

Our 5-day stay at Mendoza was very pleasant. The big plus was the early morning check in. We arrived at the hotel around 6:30 am due to our over night flight. But the hotel staff told us not too worry and provided a room right away, allowing us to have a good place to rest and get recovery from the...

Four star quality at Super 8 prices. Wonderful location; in the heart of downtown, though a bit far from the airport. Exceptional service and most of staff is fluent in English. The restaurant is very nice and the food is great. Try the Mexicano breakfast! Here is where I am staying during my next trip to Guadalajara.

We stayed here in February for five days and enjoyed the location, the simple rooms, the lovely breakfast buffet and the friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on the rooftop patio which overlooked the church next door. The pool is tiny and cool, but a bit of a gem. Step outside the door and be in the...

During my first trip ever to Guadalajara Mexico in 1990, I stayed at Hotel de Mendoza. It is a very nice hotel and situated near many restaurants, stores, etc in downtown. Very comfortable which has great views. Recommended hotel if your visiting Guadalajara

I have been visiting this venerable hotel for many years and continue to be impressed by the convenience of being so close to just about everything in the El Centro area of town.Whereas the hotel is not fancy by any means, it is a solid, reliable clean property, staffed by attentive and helpful personnel and the big bonus - exceptional...

Hotel de Mendoza is a nice hotel with character and my experience was enjoyable overall. I held a meeting on a top floor suite and it worked out great - decent space and staff was super. The rooftop terrace is quite nice and offers great views of cathedrals great architecture and the soccer stadium off in the distance. The restaurant...

Great stay and good value. Rooms were clean, updated and pleasant -nothing too remarkable with amenities but definitely adequate. The staff was very pleasant and helpful --even remembering what each of us liked and disliked with regard to menu. The only negative would be that the beds were incredibly hard. We were 1/2 and 1/2 on that one. We would...

The Hotel de Mendoza couldn't be better located in the heart of the city's historic district. The hotel itself is average. The room I stayed in was spacious even if the bed was too small for me to sleep comfortably in. It was freshly repainted which was obvious from the smell when I checked in. The air conditioning did not...

Want to go to back to year 1910 :) Old school hotel with excellent staff, service and atmosphire. Room was brilliant, very roomy, old, little "tired" but somehow very friendly. I dont know, go and see yourselves! Hotel is one minute walk from Plaza de la Liberacion and few minutes from Cathedral and Plaza de Armas. Very safe to walk...
