I took advantage of some great airfares out of San Jose, CA and decided to escape for a long weekend to Guadalajara. I am so fortunate that I happened to find Casa Alebrijes. It made my weekend getaway amazing. John, the owner, made me feel right at home with a great information about the city sights as well as the...

This wonderful B&B is like your home away from home, but only better! First of all, it is charming, and you will feel the good vibes immediately. The rooms and baths are comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast is healthy and generous, unlimited water is provided in your rooms. But, the outstanding reason to stay here is John, the owner/host....

I travelled to Guadalajara in June 2016 as my first trip ever to Mexico, and I am so glad I did! Finding this awesome jewel tucked in the historic core of Guadalajara was such a lucky shot in the dark. I've travelled all over Europe for nearly 20 years and was reluctant to travel to Mexico due to the bad...

This is not a four star hotel but I would rather stay at Casa Alebrijes for its charm, location, and the valuable advice that John gives to make your stay in Guadalajara a great time at a very reasonable price. I only wish there was a bed and breakfast place like this everywhere I traveled! Hope to get back and...

We received a warm welcome from John, who gave us lots of help and information on Guadalajara, which we very much appreciated. We were on the 2nd floor in room 8 which is a King Suite. A huge room, very attractively decorated, with a very comfortable bed, plenty of seating, cable TV, toiletries, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, large...

When I go back to Guadalajara I always choose Casa Alebrijes, and this time was better than the first time. Locate in Zona Romantica (Downtown). Me and my boyfriend spent 3 days and was awesome, I recommend the room by the fountain (1st floor).

This was our second time staying in Casa Alebrijes and it didn't disappoint. John, the owner/innkeeper, was always accommodating and informed. This time we chose room #3, and the sound of the fountain was super soothing. There's always plenty of hot water for showers and the wi-fi is strong. The location is superb and the prices are very reasonable. All...
