Before booking here, understand what this hotel is... it is a very budget hotel, in a very good location. Our room was comfortable enough, with private bathroom, TV, and good WiFi. The best part of the stay was the price and location. We were just a block or so from Juarez Street, and walking distance to the University, the Cathedral,...

On first sight, the location looks a little dodgy, tucked down a side street - once you get to know the area you realise how good it is. Quiet, but only a three minute walk from Templo Exporiato, the Museum of Art, Guadalajara University, Revolution Park and several bars and restaurants. The Historico area is a fifteen minute walk one...

I just returned home to California from 5 weeks in Guadalajara, MX. I stayed the entire time at Casa Vilasanta and loved it. The location is great, close to great food, cultural sites, nightlife, gym, and various English classes. This hostel is comfortable, clean, and very well run. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with anything...

Casa Vilasanta is a unique hostel located a couple of blocks away from templo expiatorio. The colorful bright walls and plants add a unique touch to it. The employees are polite and attentive. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The outside sitting areas (downstairs & upstairs) are comfortable. The rooms are spacious and equipped with private showers/restrooms. The area...

The hotel is painted in very bright colors. There are lots of potted plants every where. It is walking distance to the historic center and lots of great restaurants. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both were very big. I especially liked the outside sitting area on the roof. There is a kitchen that the guests can cook for...

Two months before my arrival, I made a reservation at this hotel. On the date of my arrival, I received an email asking me to confirm my reservation, which I did. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I could stay for only one night although my reservation was for three. I did not want to spend...

My husband and I stayed two weeks at Casa Vilasanta while we attended the IMAC language school. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hostel is very clean and the staff did a great job cleaning our room each day. A breakfast of toast, cereal, fruit and coffee was available each morning. The kitchen is open for anyone who would...

I have visited Guadalajara a number of times over the past 10 years and I've always stayed at the Vila Santa. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The place has a nice atmosphere and a good location close to the historical center. When I visit Guadalajara, this is my place to go, I don't even look anywhere else. They...

My husband and I have been staying at Vilasanta since September 2014, when we arrived to Guadalajara for our TEFL course at ITTO. We didn't anticipate staying more than a month, but three months later we are still here! The place is fantastic and the staff are wonderful, especially Chary, Claudia and Willie. Chary's welcoming smile is enough to brighten...
