Did I mentioned great location? Right in the heart of this magical city, across the street from El Jardin, Teatro Juarez, restaurants and bars galore and two blocks south of the Parroquia de Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato. If you're interested in tours of this city and the municipalities adjacent to Guanajuato (ex. Dolores Hidalgo, San Miguel De...

If you like quiet room (parties until 2 a.m. in the square) then ask for a room in the back. Nice room, clean. Great location to walk in the square, walk throughout the entire downtown with lots of places to eat. Reasonable prices for the rooms with wifi available. Staff is friendly with 24 hour front desk.

I booked my room at the Hotel San Diego online, and I was blown away by the location of this hotel. I can't think of a better place in the city to stay. Within in very, very easy walking distance of so many cool places (Teatro Juarez, Pipila, etc.), and they also put us on the top floor, which has...

It is top location in GTO. Unfortunately, unbearably NOISE until 3 AM. Simple, you can't sleep before 3AM. WIFI spoty, rooms not much to offer except amazing location. Hotel stuff is good. They try to accommodate your wishes. It is a pity that this great location doesn't have more peaceful time after midnight.

There is very convinience location where is in front of Union garden . We can go to Pipila, theater Juarez, buy gifts and restaurants within 20 minutes, but it makes some noise late at night..so I couldn't sleep well. The atmosphere and cleanliness were great.

This is my 3rd visit to the Hotel San Diego. What is vital to me is the location and how accesible it is to get around when you are right in the heart of Guanajuato. I had a room with 3 beds on the first floor. I was traveling with 3 seniors so staying on the first floor was important....

Located next to Main square but location cannot make up for situation above a techno nightclub which closes at 3am. Horrible night. Rooms extremely basic and overpriced. Basin wouldn't empty. Furniture dirty.
