Finding this Bed & Breakfast turned my visit in Guanajuato into a magical experience. The rooms were immaculately clean, brightly and uniquely decorated with the colors of the culture and an array of beautiful flowers adorning every view from the windows. Hugo, the owner, Sky and William, managers, Luis, assistant and the kitchen staff who made amazing breakfasts, all made...

You can feel true magic floating in the first time you put a step inside this hotel, you can see alebrijes (brightly colored folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures) hiding all around. All the suites are different and decorated in a fantastic ways, all of them seems to hide a different tale to tell you with a chimney ready to...

This place is absolutely amazing! The grounds are gorgeous, the breakfast is outstanding, the service was top notch. I felt at home, slept very well in a lovely room with a fireplace, great art, and very tranquile setting. I couldn't recommend it more!!!

I first stayed in the Ex-Hacienda la Trinidad in the neighbourhood of Marfil when there wasn't space available in the Casa de Espiritus in downtown Guanajuato. I was glad I did though. The Ex- Hacienda is not far from downtown by taxi, only 40 pesos away. It is in a beautiful garden setting with a most charming and helpful host,...

The hotel is located just outside the city in what used to be an Hacienda. Each room is decorated in a very special way. Mine had a swing that looked liked it has come from the motion picture the little princess. Othe rooms were decoreted in a more mexican Style. Since it is a boutique hotel it is small so...

Really great place. The decor is unusual in the extreme, in a good way. For Guanajuato, it is relatively quiet, as it is out of town. The host was great, both friendly and helpful. BUT Getting there is not simple.... welcome to Guanajuato. Nothing is simple about directions in Guanajuato. We spent 4 nights over the New Year's holiday here at this unique and wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The old hacienda itself is a site to enjoy - whimsically decorated, with Mexican folk art and color. Everything from the bathrooms, to the dishware, to the napkin holders held something special. We had the good fortune of meeting other friendly, interesting...

We stayed for three nights in the Casa de Espiritus Alegres with two adults and a baby. The casa is a converted hacienda with a beautful well maintained shady garden where the bougainville grows three stories high. The whole B&B is decorated in a very artistic way and the rooms are spacious and immaticulately clean. Hugo, who runs the property...

We are a 55 year old couple and loved the ambiance, the assistance from the staff and we liked the out of town location which enabled us to come back and relax. The cab is a $3.00 easy ride to town. We would definitely come here again! THank you to all of the staff, Jane ad Hank

This old hacienda is a vibrant arrangement of intense color, surrounded by gardens to match. Our family has stayed here a few times and each time was unforgettable. The ambiance is uniquely Mexican folk, and each bedroom is its own imaginative entity. The staff is friendly and professional, with suggestions and directions for each day's events. They even arranged a...
