This is a wonderfully located hotel, the rooms are a very nice size and very nicely decorated. We had a room that faced the square, with two glass door exits on to the small patio. There were wooden shutters to also close off the glass doors on the patio. There is no elevator, was not an issue for us. Our...

We got there by accident, we couldn't find the recommended place, so I asked a lady in the coffee shop where she would stay, and of course she said Hotel Luna. So we humped through the little mall, out to the sidewalk and down a hundred yards and poof, there it was. It looks great from outside, very old world....

The Hotel Luna is an older hotel that sits right on Jardin de la Union. There is lots of music and activity on the plaza every night. The rooms are very clean, but can be very different, depending upon which room you get. some have beautiful antique furniture and some have more modern furniture, without much character. The bed in...

This is one I am a little torn reviewing. The location is unparalleled in Guanajuato within walking distance of great sites in the heart of the city. The facility is charming, with some great details, but you can see no renovations have taken place here in a long time. The place is clean, but old. Rooms are spacious, but not...

The food was mediocre, service really poor and disorganized. The dishes trickled out after a 45 minute wait while the wait staff watched a world cup match. One order never came at all. Avoid this place. Much better service and food to be had across the square at the Cafe Valadez.

Have dined here on numerous occasions. Great menu and loved the ambience. When eating in the outside restaurant, it is fascinating to watch the Guanajuato world go by, not to mention the music of the mariachis. I adore it here!

Extremely well located at Guanajuato historic downtown, in front of the Teatro Juarez and Main Square. You can go everywhere by walk, plenty of restaurants and bars. It has an original wing, the frontal, and a new one by the sides. The rooms on the new wing are comfortable, but not too spacious, and a little hot to the season;...

Thought I would take a chance on this restaurant in Union Square and was presently surprised. The starter was an excellent margarita then a mixed salad and pasta. I thought that the prices were fair given the location. Lots going on from music to vendors selling blankets etc.

We really liked this place. We say outdoors in their enclosed seating area and watched the people strolling nearby. We lived it a lot more than Valadez nearby. The waiter did not hover but was always accessible. They separate out their meal seating area from the beer/coffee crowd who want to watch soccer on the big screens outside. Very thoughtful....

Four of us ate there last week, as others say the location is fantastic. We liked the food, there is a good selection and though not totally haut cuisine, its well prepared and enjoyable. The service was excellent and friendly. Compared to the Santa Fe, which I reviewed recently, this was paradise. I would recommend it if you want to...
