If you're on a really tight budget and aren't looking for a super nice hostel, this is a great option for you. However, this hostel does give you a weird vibe. Alonso 10 is the perfect place to stay in Guanajuato. Located a block from the Central Gardens (Jardin) this boutique hotel is an easy walk to all the important sites. The location is great, right in the center of Guanajuato, but there was noise nearby that made it impossible to sleep. It sounded like someone knocking at the door every five minutes throughout the night. Great location, nice building etc, but no security! Don't be fooled by the padlocks on the doors. We stayed in a private room. The door didn't close properly, the window didn't lock and there was no way of being secure when we were in the room as there was no locking mechanism from the inside of the room. We just...
