Dear Guest, On behalf of the entire 1850 staff, we offer you a very sincere apology for the inconveniences that occurred during your stay. We are pleased to know you like our location, since we are in the heart of this beautiful city, which allows all our guests to visit the main attractions and touristic spots of Guanajuato. Regarding breakfast, Hotel 1850 does not have its own restaurant but to meet the needs of our guests, breakfast is offered in one of the best restaurants in the city, which is located next to the hotel and the also offer the room service. About the room that was reserved, it has 2 lamps on the sides of the bed, which work to the touch, are rechargeable, and day after day are checked to have enough energy, unfortunately one of them was discharged before of the planned time, giving the impression that it did not work. In relation to the theme of towels, according to the report of the housekeeper, the complete amenities were left in your rooms. The problem may have emerged from a confusion that you needed more towels than had already been provided but we are always aware for anything that you may need 24 hours at front desk. We would like to thank you for your time writing this comment, as this allows us to strengthen our areas of opportunity in order to offer the quality service that describes us. Has anyone stayed in Deluxe Suite Isabel and what was your thoughts about this room? Looking at booking this suite.

Nope, I stayed in the Teresa room, overlooking the plaza. HInt: Plaza rooms can be noisy (earplugs included in the room). We did not need them and enjoyed the room. Quieter rooms in the back.

Is it quiet at night for sleeping? Do any church bells ring throughout the night?

We stayed in a beautiful 2nd floor room that had a window that opened to view the Jardin. Yes, there is music every night around the Jardin which we enjoyed and didn’t bother us. There are double doors to the window and the hotel supplied ear plugs for those who need it. My wife and I really enjoyed having the window open and listen to music & people watch. Also, at night we could see the lights on the Pipila statue and it was so romantic. The church bells ring in the morning that is part of the charm of this cozy town.
