This is a great central hotel. The room was clean and nothing spectacular. The staff were amazing and friendly. The big highlight for this hotel was the Bonvoy Rewards for Platinum plus members. The room was awesome with dinner every night and great breakfasts. Never mind the amazing view and the most attentive staff. Overall great place to stay and if you have Bonvoy membership status it would be hard to beat. Nice bar also.

I’ve visited Mexico City many times and chose the Marriott Reforma due to its location and value. Location was my number one criteria as this hotel is right on the safe Reforma business district and is very central to everything in Mexico City. The hotel is also in the Zona Rosa, which I found very touristy and tacky. The much more interesting neighborhoods of Colonia Roma and Condesa are within an easy short walk. Some highlights included the service and security, 24 hour gym, very comfortable beds and extensive buffet breakfast at the on-site restaurant. That being said, the hotel is somewhat bland and corporate, typical of any Marriott anywhere. But overall experience was good and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Mediocre Stay overall. Location is good but the room had multiple issues: AC was broken and even after they fixed if they ventilation was really bad. You could not take a shower without the whole room getting foggy. The fridge was broken - they replaced it once we asked. The TV did not work, the water in the sink and tub didn’t drain properly. The front desk was not very accommodating when we brought this to their attention and just said he had to talk to the manager but he was not around at the moment. Definitely would not stay here again. Not the usual Marriott standard.

Stayed one night in this hotel while transiting through Mexico City to Valle de Bravo. Fantastic location, basically next to the Angel de la Independencia, and close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Fairly good sized and clean room, friendly staff, amazing lobby bar and good breakfast. Tried to use the sauna but didn’t heat up enough. Would definitely stay here again.

First room had the noisiest air conditioner out, once I could get into the room as first keys did not work. Would have been like trying to sleep with a tractor running in the room. Took one and a half hours for reception to move room. Housekeeping requests ignored. Various items missing every day, even down to a pillow cover. Food and Beverage staff great - but breakfast capacity is a problem every day between 08:00 and 10:30. Expect 30 minute wait or find an alternate outside of the hotel and pay, the buffet will be bare anyway.
