So disappointing. The hotel room itself is beautiful - very stylish, large and clean. The location of the hotel though is terrible. For blocks and blocks around the hotel, there is trash everywhere, boarded-up stores and graffiti . The most frustrating thing though is that there is a band playing in the restaurant and it is the loudest music I have heard outside of an actual concert I paid to attend. The walls in our room are vibrating. There's screaming, cheering, whistling and shouting from the audience. A great experience for the fans that are attending, but I can't imagine anyone would think it was a good idea to have music playing this loudly one floor down from customer's rooms. We have also attempted to call the hotel seven times in the last week and the phone either rings and rings or someone picks it up and hangs up. We have emailed four times with no response. The front desk seems very chaotic and unprofessional.

We had a room with a small balcony and it was great. The restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast was incredible. The service was outstanding at the front and they were very helpful. Great location and just in case you have worries it is extremely safe.

I was a solo traveler who stayed here for 3 nights and mi espenol no bueno. Mary, the daytime concierge, was always so helpful with recommendations and translating random things for me to english 😅. Everyone was warm and inviting. The location is Wonderful for seeing the historic sights and just a 50-70 MX pesos ride to the more hip districts of roma and condesa. There was a always a security guard and night which made me feel safe. The view and restaurant upstairs was delicious! They always knew my name and They gave me a free upgrade to the grand suite and I had a lovely street balcony view. I would say not much opportunity/shared spaces to meet other guests if you are traveling solo (and with covid) but if you do not care about that then this place is wonderful.

They overbooked and cancelled our reservation 8 hours before our arrival. Tried to pawn us off far inferior hotels. Even with the AMEX Platinum card they walked is off. Really poor communication and horrible service. To make matters worse we were in a remote area of Mexico making it really hard to find options.

The hotel is nice. The room I had did not have any window (in the patio), but was very noisy. The Saturday, the music was very strong from the restaurant. The other days, the restaurant was either closed, either closing very early. The good thing these days was the turn off of the music. The shop closed very early or was closed
