I was upgraded to a corner suite based on my SPG status. Also got to check in at the lounge level and that really started my stay on the right foot. Excellent customer service and attention not seen in the US. While the room was typical Sheraton, it was updated, comfortable and very quiet which was surprising since I was... More

On our way back home to Veracruz from Scotland as stated here as we needed to renew our US passports. This is an older hotel but it had clean, comfortable rooms and good service. We reserved on club level where breakfast in the lounge was included as well evening canapes, beer and wine.

This hotel is centrally located near the Embassy and other attractions. The area offers some interesting sites and the hotel has good dining options as well. The overall condition of the hotel was very good. Definitely a reliable and quality stay in Mexico City.

Great hotel. Very well taken care of. Hotel design is old, but is very clean, soft sheets, nice AC, new elevators. Zone is perfect. Right in front of the independence angel. Bell man explained every thing in our room. Big hotel, very safe and will come back

The hotel arranged for transportation to and from the airport. It was extremely smooth and easy. I never had to lift a finger from the moment I got through customs until I was in my room. The staff spoke wonderful English (which is good because my Spanish is lacking). Everything was clean. I ordered room service which was surprisingly good... More

The good: Great location, with numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance. Safe surroundings. Two onsite restaurants, Starbucks, room service. Top notch service with responsive employees. Fast Wi-Fi. Housekeeping brings 4 bottles of water to your room each day. The bad: Very dated rooms, classified as the “Classic” rooms. There appear to have been no updates for 25 years. The... The hotel has gone through a large remodeling and now it doesn't look its age and for the area where it is and the prices you ca get is a very competitive offer for anyone that has to be close to the Reforma area for business.

To old, needs an update, if they give you a room in the back building, you are in the oldest place in town, even it has good bedding and really comfortable mattress, the bathroom remembers the 80's, the service is ok, and the manhattan dely restaurant is also in the oldies side
