Excellent/friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, but the mattresses were very old, hard and caused back pain. There was no microwave, mini fridge, a/c or fan in the room. The room did have a nice view of the main plaza.

This is a very old property with a lot of historical interest that we enjoyed. If you expect something modern and flashy you will be disappointed. We had a nice view from our balcony of the Zocalo, Cathedral and Presidential Palace. Wifi worked well. Large clean room with older furniture and a huge bathroom. Attendants operate the old fashioned elevators....

No view from rooms. Elevators not frequently running. Has seen better days. Nice breakfast at restaurant on top floor overlooking the Zocalo. Reasonable rates. If looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Mexico City this is good. The Zocalo is not in the part of the city which is the most central now but it is in the historical...

Good: Close to the airport and main attractions. Restaurant on the last floor with great view of Zocalo Place. Bad: Very noisy. It feels like the windows are always open and it's really hard to sleep w/o earplugs. The cathedral bell rings every hour even during the night. The traffic lights start working at 5:00 am

The Good: The Hotel is only ½ hour from the airport by taxi, a 200-300 pesos ride. Also it is near many top rated tourist attractions including the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace with the murals of Diego Rivera, and across the street from the Zocalo. The Hotel personnel were 4 ½ *'s, very efficient, easy check in-checkout and they...

Location is great, centrally located right off the zocalo. Close to a lot of different attractions, the cathedral, the national palace, Templo Mayor, Palacio de Bellas Artas. The view of the Zocalo is second to none. The hotel is a bit noisy being right off the Zocalo, not for light sleepers. The noise was worth the view. The bed was a...

First impression was positive, good location off of the Zocalo square, elegant entrance and courtyard, close to everything, but thats where it ended. the reality of the infrastructure was, it was hard to get hot water for a shower our sink clogged up washing our face, very old building . we were on the second floor over looking the square...

The view from my 6th floor room overlooked the zocalo and the cathedral. Every morning the military raised the flag at 6am, so keep your window closed if you are not an early riser. The rooms are clean and bug free, however there is no heat or A/C! The cleaning staff, the bellhop and restaurant staff were amazing. The front...
