The only problem is the noisy from the street or the other room though I slept really well after the whole day visit here and there~

The hotel is dimly lit, the rooms are clean-ish, but with the Zocalo right outside the window and a nice pedestrian mall outside the hotel, who's complaining. Add the $60 price for a family of four with breakfast and I'm more than satisfied!

Keep it short: Within this price range unbeatable location and Location. Hotel itself has been built 1937 or something. That creates facilities like bathroom basin has separate taps for cold and hot water. Also very big safety issue is that there is only one(1) exit out of the floors. So in case fire in staircase/elevator lobby (same), then you are...

Stayed at the Best Western Majestic this past week and couldn't have been happier. First of all, we had a room on the 6th floor with a balcony and a view of the zocalo that simply cannot be beat. There is just no other place (other than the National Palace Presidential Balcony), that has a better view. Period. Contrary to...

This property has retained its charm, and is centrally located to Zocalo (across the street) and is within walking distance of many of the city's attractionssuch as Temple Major, the Cathedral, Alameda, and the presidential palace. The street on which the hotel is located is for pedestrian traffic only, and is a great people watching spot. Lots of street performers,...

The service here was very good. The restaurant on the roof was very good with great views overlooking the square. It has a good location as well with lots of shops and restaurants within short walking distances of the front door. What you need to be prepared for is the hotel's shortcomings. Now, I know it was built in 1937...

I had stayed in the past in the Majestic, we are from Scandinavia. We visited again on August 17 at lunch time. The service and food was so-so, but we go there for the view of the Zocalo. We love Mexico, and my brother and I have come several times. We decided to pay with our foreign credit card, and...

We had stayed in this hotel seven years ago and loved it due to it's location overlooking the zocolo, however, our last visit was a more than bad experience - it was a disaster. It was dark and hot - no a/c and rundown. The staff was unfriendly to the point of being rude. Located on the zocolo it is...
