The hotel is pretty busy but in a lovely part of the city where you can walk about and enjoy the local hospitality. The hotel is kind of al fresco with open walkways and a chalet type feel. I would definitely stay again.

I have been staying at this hotel when on business in Mexico City for as long as I remember...well, since I moved out of the city! Service is great and friendly, and even if there are more "modern" choices available, nothing beats an old friend. Great restaurants. Try for the executive level, the personalized check-in, complimentary breakfast an d evening...

Though a bit far from main activities in Mexico City, this is one of the main business oriented hotels in the city. It's location, services, setting, variety of amenities and architecture, make it a MOST for travelers who expect the best of the best.

Save your money and go to different hotel. Everything is priced way to high for what you get. The restaurants are expensive and so so, the drinks are over priced, the rooms are OK, and it just feels like your getting ripped off. Service is great though and very close to airport but it's not hard to get a shuttle...

Hotel designed in 68 but concept is still very interesting. Colours, big corridors, water fountains. With pool and workout outside. Room and bathroom is big and comfortable. Breakfast was super tasty with wide choice of possibilities including local food and fresh fruits. Negative surprise was expensive WIFI not even free in lobby, which is ridiculous. I also rate negatively that...

We planned a trip to Mexico for 6 days, 5 nights. We decided to stay at Camino Real Polanco because our friends who we were traveling with booked rooms here. We arrived late night (around 1 AM) and were very tired from travel. We had booked two standard rooms, requesting adjoining rooms since we have two kids. This was not...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
