This was my fifth stay at this charming historic hotel. The neighborhood is becoming a hot spot for nightlife but the hotel is an oasis of calm and class. Still a very fun area to walk around, eat and shop. I recommend booking directly with the hotel over the phone for best rates and service. In fact one of the...

The Hotel Geneve was an incredible experience. From the minute we pulled up in front we were impressed by its ambience and staff. It's ideally located in the Zona Rosa and is within walking distance to the Chapultepec and Polanco areas. The consierge, Ariel el Mago, helped with restaurant recommendations and reservations and was able to make one through his...

A beautiful, centrally located, historic hotel in the heart of the Zona Rosa. For the rate I received, a good deal too. Stayed twice on this trip. First three days in a much more charming portion of the hotel than the last two days in Mexico City.

We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas and had a great stay. The entrance hall and public areas are fantastic with loads of character and unusually for a hotel of this age very well maintained. The rooms although not as grand as the communal areas were spacious and well maintained. The beds had really good quality mattresses and amongst...

Hotel Geneve dates from 1907, and it has maintained the glamour and feel of that era in ways that are quite lovely. To step into the lobby is to step back in time; all is done in dark woods, all conveys a sense of turn-of-the-century class. We stayed during the Christmas holiday, and the library portion of the first floor,...

The most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep on. Room wasn't the cleanest, and the bathroom was fairly gross, with a fair amount of mold/mildew around the tub, sink, and even the faucet. The place is old, and it definitely smelled that way. I do enjoy the bar downstairs, and the decor in & around the lobby & restaurant...

Stayed in this hotel for two nights, from December 23-25, 2016. The hotel is amazing and posh. The staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and will cater to any need you have. The hotel itself is beautiful, a fusion of historical and posh, and altogether just fascinating. My boyfriend and I stayed together, and though I ordered one bed, we were...

If you are looking for a throwback feeling of luxury in the 1920s look no further. This hotel was the neutral refuge where the wealthy brought their families during the Mexican revolution, at the same time when Pancho Villa and his generals stayed while defining Mexican politics for the century to come. It's lobby is gorgeous, with a lounge and...
