A lucky find for me, upon an un expected nighgt in Mexico City--no reservation. Found and booked on Trip Adviser. Location was great, plenty of night life, cafes, bars, restaurants, shopping. This hotel was built in 1907, but was in fantastic shape, well kept. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The amenities included nice rooms, one of the... More

Reserved room in June for four nights on Booking.com. On arrival paid for the four nights, very unhappy about the dungeon they called a suite. As per Booking.com policy they reversed the charge and I stated the one night required, paid the next day for the one night. On checking by bank statement they charged my card for the one... More

There is not much point stay in an international brand hotel in Mexico city as there are so many local ones with historical significance. The Geneve Hotel is one of them. It is in Zona Roza. The hotel lobby is in a historical style and rooms are decent. Although Zona Rosa has deteriorated a bit in the last 20years, it... More

Absolutely first class boutique hotel. I f you are looking for a hotel with soul and class-yu found it. Excellent breakfast - good restaurants and in the zona rosa. could not ask for more. Make sure you ask for a "quiet room". Some rooms facing the police department can be noisy

My family and I are so impressed with Hotel Geneve. It has beautiful displays just like a museum. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. The staff treated us well. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Taxis are available right outside the entrance and reasonable.

“Ask foe the back section. It has larger rooms and is quieter. At first they have us a 'delux' room in front that you could not access the closet and open a door at the same time. You jumped from bed to bed to make it through the room. When I asked, they found me a huge room in this back area. It was so much better. ”
