Oddly enough not a lot of people know about this hotel. It is the best! The rooms are gorgeous and everything is electronic from the lights to the great blackout curtains. The staff is warm and helpful. You can walk everywhere and it's so safe! Restaurant is excellent. Rooms have a hip sexy vibe. Oh...mini bar is free! a HUGE... More

The hotel is a very nice Boutique style hotel with great individual rooms. I went there once though I am in Polanco quite often. The price is pretty high in terms of value for money. The opens at 9 and closes at 6 because it is located close to the rooms. This is one of the downsides.

We stayed at this fab property in May, 2015 for a luxury travel TV series we were filming in Mexico City and they couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Great food, excellent personal service and a clean contemporary property that is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of this great city. Also a Starwood Luxury Collection property! Points... You don't travel to Mexico City for calm. But this hotel is a lovely oasis. I've stayed in many fine hotels, but none with the level of professionalism and graciousness as Las Alcobas. The staff uniformly was outstanding. Special thanks to Leonel, the concierge, who helped with some questions prior to arrival, and who arranged for a lovely recognition of... More

My husband & I went to Mexico City for our wedding anniversary. I was torn btw staying at the St Regis, the Four Seasons, or at Las Alcobas. This is my fourth stay at Las Alcobas, a true 5 star hotel. The rooms are stunning and every detail has been thought through perfectly. The key highlight about this hotel is the service. They are friendly, efficient and helpful. A couple of glitches because of language issues wouldn't change that. The hotel itself is nice and modern, rooms are specious and the control unit is efficient and user-friendly. The only glitch are the door key - there is an obvious arrow on the card... More

This was our first visit to Mexico and we had booked a two-night stop in Mexico City, on our way to Acapulco. Reading the reviews, Las Alcobas sounded ideal. Unfortunately it was not so for us.
