Spent Valentine's Day weekend at the Zócalo Central. Did not get to see the Pope's visit--I had made the reservation before those dates were announced. Lots of advantages, and a few suggestions. Advantages: Great, great location. Unbeatable location if you want to see the Zócalo/Plaza de la Constitución/Main Square of Mexico City. In my opinion, it's worth it to get...

This is a fine hotel with helpful staff and a central location but I - unfortunately - found it to be too noisy. I had a hard time sleeping. My room was located on the 5th floor directly underneath the restaurant so there was scraping of furniture until late at night and again in the morning. Meanwhile, the hotel plays...

Clean. Comfortable. Great value for the money. Super convenient location. Friendly, helpful concierges with good command of English (thanks Tania and Hari!). They provide unlimited bottles of drinking water. Good restaurant/bar with commanding view of the square. They have dedicated English speaking drivers/taxi's they can call to help with your local travel. We were only in Mexico City for 72...

This is a lovely hotel in a great position. All the staff were excellent. The restaurant was very good and the views from its terrace amazing. We stayed in room 115 which had a Zocalo view and a large jacuzzi. The Zocalo is noisy during the day but usually goes very quiet of a night apart from Friday and Saturday...

Location is absolutely perfect: view of main square from hotel balcony (where you can get freshly made guacamole). 2 blocks to metro. many tourist highlights within a few blocks, and several good restaurants. Concierges (especially Tania) were tremendously helpful in every possible way: hiring private car or taxi, planning a day of tourism, restaurant recommendations, you name it. I am...

exceptional location right next to the Zocolo. Everyone we interacted with on their staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice enough, though a typically hard Mexican bed. Good wifi. I understand they have a very nice restaurant as well with a good view. All at a very reasonable rate. Would definitely stay there again.

Spent two nights here as a replacement for Historico Central that got some problems with sewage at the time of our visit.
