Really nice hostel in a pretty central location. Not the fanciest of hostels but rooms are clean and fairly spacious with a locker for each bed. Seating areas outside each dorm where you can socialise with other guests (they are fine with you bringing in your own drinks which is a plus!). Plenty of bathrooms that are kept pretty clean....

I tend to have great faith in what the general consensus of trip advisor offers so you can imagine my overall disappointment on my arrival to this location. Bear in mind we are fairly laid back travelers and have travelled our fair share. We were not expecting anything beyond what this place is: a hostel. So where to begin? First...

I stayed and this hostel for four nights while I was in Mexico City. First of all, it was really nice and clean! I actually wanted to have stayed in a dorm but there were no beds left in the dorm so my boyfriend and I ended up in a private room which was meant for two people but could...

Ideal if you are looking for a cheap hostel for a short stay. The place is clean and safe, well located in the city center. Some of the hostel staff could be more friendly...The bad thing is : too much noise!! There is a bar on the top.

Hostal Regina is one of the downtown hostals in typical mexican style, having a nice roof terrace. Good place to meet people or have a drink on roof terrace, where you can find djs playing on weekend. The entrance is tipically mexican styled and there is a restaurant on the floor level corner, well frequented by tourists.

I had a lot of fun at this hostel once I realized I wasn't going to get much sleep so embraced it! The building is a 4 floor mezzanine authentic and quirky, restuarants on the bottom floor and balcony's onto the street so ia lot of noise til late into the night, I stayed in the dorm room of 14...

We were traveling as 2 couples so we had booked 2 private double rooms, instead of dorms... The rooms were big, quit simple and good. They had only beds, so we were using the common showers and toilets in the corridor. They were clean and good as well. The best thing with this hostel is its location in the center....

friendly staff, lots of places to sit and chat. Beds were just okay, large room with many beds, so not that quiet. Was pretty clean, front door is locked early morning and not staffed, so be warned of that, so be aware of that if you are a morning person. They have a few computers, only one works, the rest...

I stayed 3 nights: Thurs, Fri, Sat. I tried to maximize my days- wake up early, tour different areas and go out in the evening. Location is perfect for this hostal. Very central to the top areas (zocalo is 4 min walk) and easy for an Uber pick up to travel away farther if need be. There's a rooftop bar...

GOOD MUSIC, excellent food... definitely an inviting place to go and spend a few hours with friends and family. Very close to el zocalo and many other places to spend and enjoy the rat of the day in the historic center. I would definitely visit again this place
