5 out of 5. I’m a Marriott titanium member and I appreciate that Le Meridian upgraded me to a suite that connected to my friend’s suite, who is also a titanium member. We each booked the same day we checked in and made the request after receiving the confirming email. Our rooms were on the 5th floor and I hardly heard any noise from the cars outside. 509 and 510 are suites that have a connecting door. These were each roomy and unique suites, and importantly clean, though not luxurious. We had breakfast every morning in La Gloriosa, the hotel restaurant. Each time Jonathan Sanchez was our server and he was always eager to take our order and make sure our cider cups were filled. He even memorized our preferences, so we didn’t even have to ask. On one of the days, there was a rush of customers, so I felt really bad for him as he was suddenly short staffed and the rest of the staff had to hustle double time, but they handed themselves with great service and composure. On our last day, we had breakfast and said goodbye to Jonathon, which is when he mentioned that he is working hard to move up to management by the next time we visit. With his great service and attitude, I hope he does and I am confident the restaurant and hotel will benefit even more.

Great stay…great value. Rooms were very clean and spacious! Location is good…not great but central enough to get where you need with a short walk or Uber. For the price, I’d stay here again! Breakfast wasn’t a buffet but it was delicious. Big shout out to Jonathan Sanchez who was our waiter each morning. He was awesome and super friendly! Big shout out also to the front door guys…they were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even offered to look out for our Uber rides, asking for the license plate #s so we could wait inside. Room service ended at 11pm which was kind of a bummer. Not sure if it was because of low occupancy etc.

This property is not representative of the Marriott Brand that I am used to: The hotel is great from a location standpoint. This hotel is in need of a complete upgrade. The amenities are quite limited. The first thing is they do not offer free breakfast to Gold Marriott Bonvoy members which is their company policy ??? Second, the business center has no place to plug in your electronic devices. The front desk is limited and unempowered to make any decisions about anything. For a hotel that is not very busy you would expect them to be more accommodating. The service staff is amazing especially Estela Lopez who is an exemplary employee and very customer friendly / focused. The hotel is way over-priced for what they offer and cannot compete with similar hotels throughout Mexico City. They do not enforce Covid-19 protocols like other hotels throughout CDMX. The services staff at Las Gloriosa and Starbucks are excellent. This was formerly a Hilton embassy Suites and now is a La Meridien Hotel and they cannot compete with the Hilton Reforma CDMX which is more of a four star hotel. This hotel has limited bell staff and the housekeeping staff is inconsistent except for Estela Lopez who is exceptional. The hotel is clean and caters primarily to tourists but is at the lower end of my stays for Le Meridien hotels. To obtain service at this hotel is a struggle since every time you contact the front desk they want to make an excuse for not providing service. We visited friends of our who were staying at the Marriott Reforma Mexico City and we regret not staying at this property instead since their is a marked difference in service and we ate in their restaurant for breakfast and it is night and day over Le Meridien...
