The hostel is in a great location, and it feels very safe and secure. The dorm rooms are large and clean with great locker space and plenty of power points. The shared bathrooms are also large and clean. The downside to Mexico City Hostel is the lack of energy and atmosphere, which is not helped by the tired and unenthusiastic...

This hostel is the ideal location for visiting the historic center. At 2 minutes walk from the Zocala place. Very good value for money. In reality, the hostel is splitted in two differents buildings. Republica de Brasil 11 is quiet, renovated, very well decorated and very nice. Small balcony with street view and smoking area. Large commun area with 2...

The hostel is located in the city center, right next to Zocalo, walking distance to most places. Simple rooms, good breakfasts, nice atmosphere. Internet connection really slow in the rooms. You can leave there your baggage for free which is very convenient :)

I stayed here in the dorm as well as the private room, both are very clean. The location of the hostel is perfect. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good. I tried almost all the hostels in Mexico historic city downtown but this one is the best and good value for money.

Private rooms are well priced and perfectly clean, like a hotel. Bathrooms are clean but bear in mind that they alternate F and M between floors, so ask to be in a room situated on the correct floor! There is no lift, and rooms on the top floor become quite hot, you may wish to ask for a fan. The...

We had a great stay here. The room was big, clean and airy and the staff were very helpful. Even though we checked out at noon, we were able to hang around all evening until we had to leave for our flight at 1am using the internet and watching tv in the lounge.

We went there for a night on our honeymoon. The people were very friendly, the breakfast was good, and we had a view of the Zocalo. The only complaint was there was not a women's bathroom on our floor, but that was it!

I had booked for a private room since the pricing was reasonable. I must say the hostel is very clean and so are the rooms. My room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The hostel location is right at the centre of all attractions. The hostel also provides sightseeing tours for a reasonable price. Totally recommended hostel,...
