I stayed in the dorm section between Christmas and New Years, and this was the best of the four hostels that I experienced in Mexico. The staff were nice and helpful. The hot breakfast was hearty and tasty. Clientele was friendly. I have only 3...More
I stayed for six nights there. First, the location is great. It's very close from Zocalo Metro Station and walking street. The hostel is very easy to find and it's a nice place to walk around the centro. It's quiet at night too. Second, bed...More
I stayed here 5days in a private room across the road at number 11 (the suites hostel). It was great value for money with spotless lovely renovated rooms, hard mattresses, nice towels and sheets and hot powerful showers. The inclusive breakfast was good and different...More
Great place. Staff very accommodating. Clean rooms. We stayed in a double and found it very spacious for two. Breakfast was just ok. Had good internet connection in room. Stayed six days. Great location.

The beating heart of the city lies within Centro Histórico, the vast expanse of historical buildings and monuments that are a must when exploring Mexico City. Places such as the Museo Biblioteca Palacio Postal, Casa de los Azulejos and Palacio de Bellas Artes are the perfect eye candy for anyone seeking to admire arts and architecture. Don't forget to visit the wide variety of markets and plazas where any
vintage item, handicrafts and jewelry characteristic of each state in Mexico can be found on Sundays. Admire majestic views of the city from the Monumento a la Revolución and Torre Latinoamericana, and round out the experience with restaurants of all cuisines nearby.

It was about 20min or so. We took a taxi that we booked at the hotel. He was really awesome, and knew a lot about the city. Do's and don'ts of the area.
