We have just got back to Australia (Perth) after a wonderful 4weeks in the USA and a week in Mexico City. I don't know how to describe how good the Red Tree House was. 11 out of 10 is a good start. This is without a doubt the best hotel/B&B we have ever stayed in. The hosts, Ernesto, Victor, Roberto...

Although my husband and I stayed at The Red Tree House in 2011, I wanted to add our thoughts on the place. We were in Mexico City during September, the week of their Independence Day. TRTH held a special party for guests and friends that included a home made dinner (pozole!) and free flowing beverages. The party was fun. But...

This was our first visit to Mexico City and we actually made two short visits to this city within a couple of weeks from each other. Both times we stayed in the Condesa area, of which this was the first one. The other stay was at the Villa Condesa Hotel (see separate review), which is a bit more luxury but...

The owners and entire staff are the warmest and most accommodating people imaginable... they are always ready to ensure that all guests...

The Red Tree House is one of those few Bed and Breakfasts that does everything right. If you're headed to Mexico City, it's the place to stay. As comfortable as it is colorful, the Red Tree House was the perfect base of operations for our family vacation in Mexico City. We were barely through the front gate before staff members...

This is the best place to stay in Mexico City. Every room is beautiful. Exquisite comfort on so many levels. And the best staff in the world. We were there in December to celebrate a milestone birthday and wedding anniversary. From arrival to departure, The Red Tree House was delicious perfection. The staff and even Abril, the house dog, were...

Comfortable tasteful rooms, a wonderful breakfast, an un paralleled ambience created by hosts, staff and fellow travellers in turn, exchanging information and addresses. Relaxed optional debriefing over a glass or three of fine wine at "happy hour". The chance to meet all sorts of people you didn't know you wanted to meet ,but are very glad afterwards all the same....

You have absolutely nailed it there - the vibe, the people, the food and everything a visitor could want at their fingertips in an idyllic setting - even the perfect DOG - made for the best B&B anywhere I have ever stayed. Thank you.

This place was great. We stayed here for over a week and loved it. It has a beautiful little courtyard, where they held happy hour every night with good wine. We got delicious breakfast and good advice on what to do from the staff each morning.
