Me and my entire family just stayed at Casa Colonial for 10 days and we all had an amazing experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They offer delicious food for breakfast and dinners and you can't beat the location. Close enough to the city center that it's easily walkable, but far enough...

This was my third stay at Casa Colonial, and I will be back for sure. They have a good selection of room styles - I've stayed in the singles, the doubles, and the casita - and all are impeccably clean and comfortable. The dining room is lovely and makes for convivial sharing of experiences. The sala (library) is a wonder:...

I really enjoyed my month at the Casa. The staff is amazing. I've rarely met such genuinely nice people. You'll enjoy the garden, the gorgeous breakfasts, and the little 'tienda', Jane's beautiful library. . . it's quite the place.

From the minute we arrived and were welcomed into the house by Amado, I felt like I was home. Casa Colonial is a really special place - and its a bit difficult to explain in a review. Sometimes you just walk into a place, and the energy is just right. The house is an absolute oasis from the city. The...

This must have been my fifth stay at Casa Colonial with Amado, Jane and all the gang. How refreshing to return year after year to find the same gracious and talented staff in place making each guest feel special and welcomed. The rooms are comfortable with everything one needs available. The breakfast in the morning has one drawback; it is...

Casa Colonial is a great place to stay in Oaxaca. The owner is an American and knows exactly what her guests might need. Amado the manager is there early in the morning to help you arrange tours around the city as well as giving great info on restaurants and sights near the hotel. There were five of us traveling and...
