Casa Arnel has a good feel when you walk in and our room was a good size and clean. We were on the 2nd floor near the lovely terrace that overlooks the church and is great to relax on particularly at sunset. The WIFI works in some common areas. The breakfast was also tasty with plenty of choice. The location...

Cozy basic room. The shared bath was a little inconvenient but the price was decent & near good restaurants & coffee shop. No TV but fast internet so watched Netflix movie! Comfy bed! Overall nice place!

It's a short walk into the center of town, it's in a nice area. The hotel itself is fairly basic, but It had everything I needed, also they serve food and beer here. The prices are good. It's very close to the Panteon general cemetary so great for day of the dead time.

A great spot in Oaxaca. Walkable to the middle of town in 15, but far enough out to be quiet. Secure (you have to ring the bell to get in, even if you have a room key). Great roof terrace, and they sell beer. Bike rental. Good breakfasts. They do laundry for M$25/kilo. Great collection of parrots in the central...

This hotel sits a little bit away from the centre of Oaxaca but is easily close enough to walk and gives you a quieter place to enjoy the city. There is a beautiful little church next door and a convenient corner shop and cafe on the same block. The leafy central area around which the rooms are situated has some...

I stayed in Casa Arnel with my mom, we were looking for a good place for a good price, and we found it. It is really like home, very clean, lots of plants that create a conformable and fresh atmosphere. We also had breakfast, and it was really good, home taste. All the people really care about the service. They...

This place was recommended to me from two different sources, word of mouth. It had great comraderie around the breakfast table, a charming upstairs terrace and downstairs indoor, jungle-like plaza, and a better than average free book library. The week I was there, in mid-February, there was a festival at the next-door church, and the noise was excruciating. If I...

I stayed at Casa Arnel for 3 weeks. I had my own room with a bathroom and a small balcony with a bench included on the 2nd floor. There was a fan included in the room to plug in when it gets hot. It also had a wooden desk and chair and a closet to hang clothes. The bed was...

I booked through booking.com. When I arrived I was shocked how basic the room was. A rock hard single bed, a wooden table and chair and a threadbare towel that I wouldn't even have put in a dog basket. I only stayed 1 night but there was a hen party going on which was so noisy and didn't involve any...

Stayed here for two nights. The single room was small, the shared bathroom was dirty most of the time. I found the hotel to be very noisy, even when half full. Staff were so so. A good 15 minute walk from the zocolo. But its a nice walk ! Internet was free and quite good.
