I came back to Mexico after almost six years of living abroad, and I decided to treat my parents with a holiday to Oaxaca. Since seeking for in the internet, I loved this hotel and I was not wrong. The location is not so central, but far enough to walk everywhere. We had a three-bed room, spacious and clean. My...

A five minute walk from Santo Domingo, about six to the Zocalo. During the day the street fronting the hotel is busy, but the inner court area of the hotel is quiet. At night the street is quiet. The rooms vary in size, all have fans, screened windows, private bath with hot water. Wi-fi in patio / courtyard area is...

We stayed here for one night. The staff was very accommodating and prepared our room expeditiously even though we arrived before noon. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of hot water. It was quiet. The WiFi worked well even in our room. Reading in bed was difficult due to the lack of good lighting. The courtyards around...

My wife and I stayed here from 10/11 to 13/11 2016. We reserved our room 2 1/2 months beforehand but were disappointed to have been given the worst room FF. Above reception and on a busy road, woken by screams at night and very noisy generally.

Ever since they started, I´ve stayed the Hotel Golondrinas, and know the owners, and Carmen, their daughter who´s running it now for decades. Simple, clean, beautiful Mexican taste. Centrally located, great staff. The price? Excellent.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help with information on the city, booking a taxi to the airport and any questions. We arrived late at night and were lucky to find such comfortable accommodation available. The rooms are surrounded by pretty gardens. I found it to be a bit expensive although I believe you pay for such a...

Both my wife and myself agreed that Las Golondrinas was one of the best places we had ever stayed at...in every way. It was beautiful, the staff was great, it was quiet but friendly, the rooms were kept pristinely clean, Maria at the desk was able to answer just about any question we asked, the location was excellent. I should...

Las Golandrinas is a small hotel with basic amenities with an excellent location. It is only a 5 min walk from the Zocalo in one direction and a 5 min walk to the Temple of Santo Domingo in the other direction. It is very close to many excellent restaurants as well. Although breakfast is not included, they serve breakfast to...

This medium-priced hotel served us well. Rooms are very clean and basic, with a couple of upright chairs in each room besides the bed(s) and cupboards and desk. There are garden areas to sit in, and the gardens are truly amazing--a riot of plants that are carefully tended by the staff. Wifi was best closest to the source. Continental breakfast...

This hotel is pleasant and secure, the gardens are lovely, the staff is helpful, and the location is great. But, there seems to be quite a range in the rooms and your experience will depend on your room. I was in three different rooms over a 7-night stay. If I had not been able to switch rooms after my first...
