The B&B is charming and very clean. The breakfast is to rave about. The table settings were different each morning. They were colorful and very creative. The food also beautiful as well as delicious. The staff, and especially Juan, were very gracious. It was like being a guest in a friends home. The roof deck was beautiful and relaxing after...

I stayed in El Secreto for about 12 days, the first 8 of which was with my husband (in Begonia), and the second 4 days by myself. I enjoyed it so much that I came back for the last four days of my stay in Oaxaca (and stayed in Azalea). Juan, Ceciia, and the two Christinas were so helpful and...

We stayed here for six nights & LOVED it here. The staff were amazing! Juan was so nice & he set up an amazing tour for us. The Christinas x2 & Cecilia cooked us amazing meals every morning and gave us fresh juices & Oaxacan coffee. We slept in the Dalia room which was small but cozy and rather enjoyed...

The phone prepared for breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very nice. The house has a patio as well as a rooftop seating area. The location is very convenient to many restaurants and places of interest. The people who work in the B & B always had a smile, and were very helpful...

We walked into El Secreto and immediately felt right at home. After a week, we didn't want to go home. The staff were welcoming and prepared the most amazing artiscally plated breakfasts. Every morning something different and just as delicious. The details of El Secretó alone were worth a daily walk through and a roof top terrace to top it...

We'd wanted to stay at the main Las Bugambilias location but there was no room, so the owners suggested El Secreto and we were not disappointed. This is a small modern house with three rooms, a living room, open kitchen, and great rooftop. It would be great to share this with other friends, or if you enjoy getting to know...

We had a great time there, everybody was nice to us, nice treat and always willing to help us with whatever question we would have. And is located next to one of the best places in Oaxaca, the etnobotanical garden. Close to Santo Domingo, many restaurants and right next to La Mezcaloteca, a great place to make an appoinment and...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Oaxaca, Mexico and staying in the El Secreto B&B. This was truly a home away from home. The accommodations were very comfortable and included wonderful outdoor patios and a beautiful rooftop terrace. Every morning a breakfast of freshly prepared authentic Mexican cuisine was prepared. DELICIOUS!!! A big thank you to all El Secreto...

Beautiful place to stay in Oaxaca, great location. Feels like if you lived in the city. Very, very friendly staff and very good breakfast!! Unfortunately we would spend almost all day out walking but when we came back it just felt great.

As the name implies, the secret is hidden behind the yellow walled facade. A small modern house un folds with lots of detail in art, regional textiles and contemporary architecture. The rooms are very comfortable and impeccably clean. Each have access to the exterior back patios, so all are right and cheery. Expect to find details you would not normally...
