I loved the attention the staff gave me during my stay at the hotel. They were very helpful giving me directions and great suggestions for places to eat and visit. Location was great and we walk to every where from there. We went to another market close to the hotel that was more geared towards the locals. My only complaint...

This seems like such a nice place. Simple but well cared-for rooms. Really nicely constructed and decorated, nice paint, tile, and wood trim. Pretty lobby with several seating spaces. Smart and helpful desk staff (Odillia). Everything was super clean. I paid a little more than 900 pesos including tax and thought it was pretty good. I moved into the first...

the courtyard pictured is in the middle of the hotel. the windows there are the windows to the rooms so it's a little weird. the curtains barely cover the window otherwise i wouldn't have minded. caution of the bathroom! as soon as you open the door it goes immediately into steps down-don't fall! inexpensive though so totally worth it, and...

Well located but noisy......lots of street noise. The room was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the hot water while we were there and having a shower was a challenge, would not hesitate to stay there again if that was sorted.

Service was excellent especially by Odilia the receptionist. Very charming, clean and mexican style. Our room type apartment was lovely, and always clean. Just a little problem this room it is exactly facing the street which is a very busy one with local busus , cars, motorcycles. Does not matter a lot since after sightseeing we came to sleep and...

Yes, it's small but it is perfectly located. When we got there they gave us a map and showed us our rooms. We arrived late in the evening and they were immediately ready with advice for where to eat and were willing to make a booking for us. The rooms were clean and perfect for the purpose. The only drawback...

Hotel Oaxaca magico. Coming from a world of 5 diamonds hotels, all inclusive hotels and traveled to North America extensively, South America and Europe tend to spoil your taste for hotels. Coming to a charming town like Oaxaca requires some adjustment on your mind set, you need to forget the "Americanize sized rooms" and think more in the European way...

Small boutique hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. Clean, budget friendly, close to everything, and most importantly a very friendly staff that went above and beyond for my friend and I. My spanish is pretty much non-existent (though I plan on changing that!), but they were very patient and helped us figure out our way around the lovely city, arrange...

My girlfriend and I stayed in this wonderful little hotel during Dia de los Muertos festival and it was wonderful. Luis snd Odilia were super friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel was only three blocks away from the Zocala so it was an esasy stroll to all the sites.

Great value for money, especially when finding a room during the Day of the Dead festival proved difficult. The room was on the small side and, with both the door and window facing internal courtyards, it was rather noisy. Overall, though, not a bad visit if on a budget.
